Pointless Cafe's Best of 2013 Part 5: Best Overall Brand of the Year

Well it's that time of year again! Time for my personal favorites of the year. And it was NOT easy this year for sure because this has been the best year for polish that I can remember...ever.

1: Top 15 Mainstream Brand Polishes - published
2: Top 10 Boutique Brand Polishes - published
3: Highlight: Top Five Indie Brands (with my favorites from each) - published
4: Top Indie Polishes of 2013 (excluding the Highlighted Brands) - published
5: Brand of the Year (with my top 15 from this brand) - published
6: Polish of the Year - published

By best brand - I mean overall. Mainstream, Boutique, Indie...

And the brand is...

My favorites are just about all of them. But I couldn't do that to you. Plus some of my favorites came out before 2013. Couldn't do that to you either. And we won't even get into the samples and small batch prototypes. I wouldn't do that to you either. So I've chosen my top 15 Elevation Polishes that came out in 2013 without any SBPs or OOAKs that you can't have!

Elevation Polish consistently delivers on the formula and creativity, not to mention reliable re-stocks and stellar customer service. And variety! Cremes, shimmers, flakies, glitters, mattes, oh my! This, along with being my most reached-for brand, has made them my Brand of the Year.

Continued after the jump...

The Arches II

Volcanic Dust

Those are my top 15 Elevation Polishes of 2013. But just for fun...two of my other favorites that I was able to get from the Small Batch Prototypes:

Mountain Air

They were just too pretty to resist showing.

And a couple of Honorable Mentions:

You can check out my Elevation Polish board on Pinterest for more eye candy.

Elevation Polish releases new collections on the 7th of each month and re-stocks on the 7th and 22nd of each month and are available on the Elevation Polish site here and retail for $8.50. You can also follow her blog for news, re-stock information, new collections, etc. A full line of Elevation Polish is now being carried by Llarowe - you can visit the llarowe website here and follow Llarowe on Facebook for more news and information.

What do you think? Did any of these make YOUR list?

Stay tuned for the last "Best Of" pick for Best Polish of the Year tomorrow, December 23rd!

  1. Great choice - I love Elevation polishes too! I couldn't possibly pick a favourite *overall* but my favourite from the ones you have here is The Arches!

  2. I knew this brand of nail polish a few months ago and most of the colors are wonderful. I also like Picture Polish and Enchanted

  3. yup - so hard to choose a fave! Lulu for world domination! xx

  4. I picked up my first Elevations over the summer and just recently got a few more...I'm becoming more and more in loooove with Lulu and her gorgeous creations! They're all so beautiful but my current obsession is Rapa Nui. This post of yours has caused me to add a few more to my wishlist. :)

  5. You've convinced me and I've just ordered my 1st Elevation polishes.

  6. I love Elevation Polish: I've bought from Lulu several times defying Italian customs which are so severe with nail polish import!!

  7. Oh yeah, these are just gorgeous <3

  8. Completely agree! Lulu hits it out of the park on every polish she makes. My faves are "These boots were..." and "Toubkal"...was hoping to see those on your list but they may have been released last year. In any case, great choice!

  9. I concede! Elevation made my #1 polish of the year too. Girl knows whats up!

  10. I was wondering where your Elevation choices were in the Best Of lists! Answer is Lulu is the best, and I completely agree. All of her polishes are in my constant rotation, and I am always amazed with her fabulous colors.

  11. I wonder if it's just me or are a lot of indie polish names odd and almost impossible to remember?
