Girly Bits Elephant Shoe - Swatches and Review

Nothing to Disclose
*This product is Cruelty Free

Girly Bits
Elephant Shoe

Today I have Girly Bits Elephant Shoe to show you. I knew when this first came out that I would need it because well, it's grey and it's a creme. Buy All The Greys! I'm not sure why I didn't get this one immediately, but I did find it on a blog sale and finally got it.

As you know, Girly Bits is great with the double meanings - I mean just look at the name of the brand! I love it and always get a chuckle. I had to have this one explained to me though. I understood the face value of the name because it's "elephant colored" of course, but when you mouth the words "elephant shoe," it looks like you're saying "I love you."

Continued after the jump...

Elephant Shoe is a creamy, smooth blue-toned smoky grey creme with the perfect finish. No issues at all with formula or application. I'm showing two coats alone and then with top coat. This one dries to a sort of semi-satin/rubber finish which is my favorite way to wear it. But it's also gorgeous shiny - with top coat.

Here is it without top coat...

And with top coat...

With top coat in indirect natural lighting...

So you can tell I love this one. It's a great medium blue-based grey and while I love all greys, including the more green-based ones, this shade is my favorite because it looks best on my cool-toned skin. What do you think of it? I love it best without top coat but I know I'm probably in the minority there.

Girly Bits polishes are available on their site here and are also available at Overall BeautyMeiMei's SignaturesHarlow & Co. and for $10 to $13 retail for full .5 oz bottles.
