Red Dog Designs Who's 50th Anniversary
Fish Fingers and Custard

Okay, if you have followed me for long, you know I'm a Whovian, so I'm super excited to be showing you a Who-inspired collection from Red Dog Designs! There are 13 polishes in the collection and over the next few days, I'll be showing you all of them!

If you missed Doctor Donna, click here.

This morning, I have Fish Fingers and Custard for you. ♥

Again, I have mixed feelings about the episode that brought us the wacky "fish fingers and custard." I missed Tennant and I wasn't going to like Smith already and then "Bacon. That's bacon? Are you trying to poison me?" I think  I actually stood up and screamed something at my TV. But then Smith grew on me too. Even though he has the taste of a tumble bug. He's right...that must have been a hell of a scary crack in her wall.

Continued after the jump...

Fish Fingers and Custard is a clear-based glitter polish with 3 shades of yellow glitters in circle, hex and short bars, white hexes and short brown metallic bars with a generous sprinkling of holo shimmer/micro-glitter. The glitters are perfectly suspended in the base and there was no digging at all - the glitters all came out on the brush easily. No issues at all! I layered two coats over a taupe base (Liquidus Arsenic).

Shiny...

With matte top coat...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What I have come to learn is that I love yellow glitters. I have always liked the color yellow but because I'm the color of bleached flour, I can't wear 99% of yellows right up against my skin. Yellow just hates me. But in a glitter, I can finally wear some yellow because it's not right against my skin! Loved it!

What do you think? I'll be showing you the rest in the coming days, so stay tuned!

  1. Maybe I just don't see the necessary line... could you please tell what you used for undies? I really like this pale grey.

  2. So I can assume "You're Scottish -- fry something!" did nothing to endear Matt Smith's doctor, lol?

  4. You're killing me! This swatch led me straight to Red Dog Designs as a first-timer, and I wound up buying two more polishes from them... yikes! Oh, and now I want desperately to join the Dr. Who club to see what I've been missing out on!
