Zoya Evangeline - Swatches and Review

I really thought I'd reviewed Zoya Evangeline already, but it turns out that's what I was wearing when the Zoya True and Fleck Effects arrived! So you really can't blame me (much) for overlooking it, now CAN you?

Click here for my review of the entire Zoya True and Fleck Effects Collections.

It's really difficult to describe Evangeline because the lighting playfully changes it constantly - sometimes it's almost an orange-red and others it's almost berry pink! So I'm deferring to Zoya's description here:

Color Description of Zoya Nail Polish Evangeline

Zoya Nail Polish in Evangeline can be best described as: A deep rose-pink shimmer with slight gold duochrome and flecks of gold microglitter. An elegant, romantic shade that's always appropriate.

Color Family Pinks

Finish Metallic

Intensity 4 ( 1=Sheer - 5=Opaque )

Tone Cool

Original Collection Magique

Yeah, what THEY said! ^

This is two coats - no topcoat and no cleanup.

And since Evangeline is what I was wearing when the Fleck Effects arrived, you KNOW I had to try one of them out over it. *grin*

  1. Very pretty!!! Especially with the flakies on top!! I thought I was satisfied with one bottle of flaky topcoat (Essie, Shine of the Times), but when Zoya came out with their 3 I really fell in love with the pink one. Will need to add it to my wish list. ;) Nice swatches!!!

  4. Thanks! It was a totally accident. Not sure if I would have thought to put it over Evangeline, but I was lazy and that's what I was wearing that day so...I guess that's what they call a happy accident!
