BB Couture - Carrie, Ruby Ruin and Galactic Stranger

*These products are Cruelty Free

Monday. It's true you "can't stop that day." But you can cheer that bugger up a bit! Today I have 3 polishes from BB Couture to show you that will do just that. I am so ready for Autumn and while I can't bring about season change, I can wear a little of it on my nails to make me happy. These three shades remind me of Fall.

Carrie, Ruby Ruin and Galactic Stranger

Continued after the jump...

Carrie is a deep navy blue polish with blue and silver shimmer. This dries to a shiny finish but I've used a top coat for the photos. No issues to report at all. The formula and application were smooth and creamy. I used two coats for full opacity.

Ruby Ruin is a super shiny brown-based vampy red crelly. Actually, it *might* be a jelly, but it's opaque in two coats. I've used 2 coats here and NO top coat for the photos. Sorry about the reflection! No issues to report at all with this one either. It's really stunning and reminds me of those vampy red jelly/crelly polishes like Chanel Rouge Noir, although this one is not quite as dark and maybe a touch more brown.

Galactic Stranger is a sandy taupe polish with loads of holographic shimmer/micro-glitter. It can be worn alone or used as a top coat over another polish. I've first layered two light coats over Ruby Ruin, one coat of top coat; and then alone with 3 coats and one coat of top coat. No issues to report at all.

First, over Ruby Ruin...

And alone with 3 coats and one coat of Poshe top coat...

What do you think of these? Which is your favorite? I can't really choose a favorite. Ruby Ruin is that squishy, shiny vampy red I seem to be so in love with right now. Taupes are another weakness but add all of that holo goodness and I'm hooked. Carrie is gorgeous, but she has to come in 3rd just by default.

These polishes came from Kim at Overall Beauty.

BB Couture polishes are available at Overall Beauty and at the BB Couture site and retail for $10.95 for full-sized bottles. You can also follow Overall Beauty on Facebook and BB Couture on Facebook for more information and swatches.
