Literary Lacquers - Amnesia Euphoria Ecstasy - and a Happy Birthday!

*This product is Cruelty Free

Get ready to add to your wishlist because tonight I have a very special polish to show you from Literary Lacquers to celebrate the creator's birthday!

In celebration of her birthday on Saturday, August 24, 2013, Literary Lacquers will be launching a special, Numbered, Limited Edition polish called Amnesia Euphoria Ecstasy.

More photos, my review, where and when to purchase and how to enter to WIN one!
Continued after the jump...

First a little background on the name. As you've figured out by now, if you've been a Literary Lacquer customer, she always takes her inspiration from her favorite literary works. This one is no different.

Let's let her tell you:

The name is inspired by Another Roadside Attraction by Tom Robbins, one of my favorite books by one of my favorite writers. I feel that as I've gone through my life, I've experienced all three of the states described and am so happy to be living in ecstasy now!
"There are three mental states that interest me," said Amanda, turning to the lizard doorknob. They are: one, amnesia; two, euphora; three, ecstasy."
She reached into the cabinet and removed a small green bottle of water-lily pollen. "Amnesia is not knowing who one is and wanting desperately to find out. Euphoria is not knowing who one is and not caring. Ecstasy is knowing exactly who one is - and still not caring."

Amnesia Euphoria Ecstasy is a very strong linear holographic polish in a gorgeous shade of blue. The formula and application are great and I had no issues at all. The first coat is deceptive in that you think you'll need a LOT of coats for opacity. Not true! I think short nails will find 2 coats sufficient and longer nails will need 3 light coats. I did 3 light coats with no top coat for all photos.

I didn't have any sun today so I'll be showing you indirect natural lighting, shade and artificial lighting only. I would say I'm sorry but we got RAIN and I'm too happy about that to apologize. LOL!

Artificial lighting...
