butter LONDON Giddy Kipper - Swatches and Review

Nothing to Disclose
*This product is Cruelty Free

Happy Sunday! Today I have one of the new-ish butter LONDON polishes to show you from the Colour Clash Collection for Fall 2013: Giddy Kipper.

Giddy Kipper is referred to as an "opaque indigo shimmer" by butter LONDON. At first I thought indigo wasn't a great description until I schooled myself on what indigo actually IS. It's between blue and violet on the color spectrum, explaining perfectly that purple quality that I was having a hard time describing. It's a wonderfully saturated blue with violet purple undertones. It's not dark like I always thought indigo was, but very bright. The formula and application, like most butter LONDON polishes, were great. Perfectly creamy. The shimmer is as visible on the nail as it is in the bottle. No issues to report. All photos are with two coats of color and one coat of Poshe top coat.

"Giddy Kipper" is Brit slang for someone who is overly excited - are you a "right giddy kipper" for this color?

I've heard rumblings about butter LONDON's choice of colors for their Fall collection. This is the most "Fall-ish" of the entire collection I think. But living in South Hades USA, I really don't "do" seasonal anyway. So the seemingly "non-Fall" colors bothers me not one whit. What do YOU think?

butter LONDON polishes are available at butterlondon.com and selected retail stores like ULTA (and most recently, Dillard's Department Stores) and they retail for $15.00 for .4 ounces. To stay up-to-date on special deals and offers, you can "like" them on Facebook here. Giddy Kipper is just one of the over 100 colors they offer, in addition to various indulgences for your hands and feet...and even your lips. The nail lacquers are 3-free and butter LONDON is a Cruelty-Free company. That's a major plus for me.

If you enjoyed this post, please take a second to "like" it! Thanks!
