Dior Dune and Trench - Swatches and Review

Tonight I have two polishes from Dior's new Nude Collection for Fall 2012 - Dune and Trench. The other two colors, Charnelle and Grege, weren't really suited for my pale skin. Charnelle was a very sheer, very pale pink and Grege was a more beige color that also seemed pretty sheer in my quick in-store swatch.

But I did fall in love with and bring home Dune and Trench!

Dune is a rich chocolate creme with a little bit of a grey undertone. It does dry a teeny bit darker than the bottle color. Silky smooth, perfect two coat opaque finish, self-leveling. I had no issues with the formula at all.

And here's how it compares to Dior Trench...

Trench is a lighter, brown creme that reminds me of a cup of hot tea with cream and a slight rosy undertone. Same formula as Dune, smooth, silky finish, perfect application and formula, opacity in two coats. It also dries a teeny bit darker than the bottle color.

I also pulled out a few other colors to compare to give you a better idea of the color. Not looking for a dupe, just seeing how it stacks up. And it makes a great ombre mani!

And Trench...

Actually, Trench isn't very different from Chanel Particuliere!

So what do you think of the Dior Nude Collection? Will you be getting any of them?

Dior polishes are available at your local Dior counter and online at dior.com and various other e-tailers and retail for $23.00 for a .33 oz bottle.
