China Glaze Pink Voltage (Neon) - Swatches and Review

Happy Monday!  How about something bright and cheery?

China Glaze Pink Voltage (Neon) is part of their WOW Collection and is definitely aptly named. I didn't layer it over white (which sometimes help give the neon a boost) but it's still lovely and neon. I don't do well at all with pastels, especially pink pastel, so this sizzling hot pink is just perfect. I used three thin coats, no top coat and no clean up. I've heard of people having trouble with some of the China Glaze neons like Flip Flop Fantasy (my favorite - part of their Summer 2010 Poolside Collection) but other than needing a third coat to smooth and even things out, I didn't have any issues.

What do you think of this one? Are you loving neons for the summer?

I didn't use a top coat, but I've seen other swatches with top coat and it seems to bring out a great shimmer in this one. I love that classic semi-matte neon finish myself though.
