Jindie Nails
Halloween Collection 2013
PREVIEW

Launching Thursday, October 3, 2013

This collections consists of five new glitter polishes: Be-Wear the Polish, Pink Punkin, There Are No Seasons in Indie, Blood Bath & Beyond and Ghosts of Candy Corn Past.

Continued after the jump...

And of course, I'm going to start with my favorite! This time it's Be-Wear the Polish. This one is "a glitter topper chock full of lots of greens, gray, black and purples.  Also has glow in the dark glitters." I didn't KNOW about the Glow-in-the-dark glitters! So I swatched it again over a plain white creme to see if I could accidentally capture them. No issues at all with formula or application. It was perfect. I've layered 2 light coats over a gradient of Illamasqua Smash and a-England Guinevere. One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

Of course I wasn't able to get a good photo of the GITD - but you can see the glitters DO glow here...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pink Punkin is a yellow orange (creamsicle) base with peach circle glitters and tons of neon pink glitters in various shapes and sizes. I used two coats and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. No issues at all with formula or application. The circle glitters are a little thicker than the other glitters so I recommend two coats of top coat if you don't want to feel them. One coat was fine for me - the look like they're sticking up higher than they actually are.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There Are No Seasons in Indie is "a yellow crelly with neon orange, neon pink, neon purple and reds.  Has different shades of pinks and purples throught and lots of gorgeous shimmer." The formula and application on this one were great and other than my top coat causing some bubbling, I had no issues - none with the polish itself. Two coats and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blood Bath & Beyond is a "deep red jelly with gold, purple & red dots and purple iridescent glitters throughout." I found it to be more of a bright cherry red. Formula and application were good. I used two coats and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. Next time I wear it I'll probably do 3 light coats. So squishy!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ghosts of Candy Corn Past is a slightly peach-tinted white crelly base with black circles, squares and rectangular glitters, various shapes and sizes of neon orange glitters and various shapes and sizes of yellow glitters. I think I also see gold shimmer! No issues to report with this one either. I'm not sure if the white base is tinted or if some of the orange glitters bled, but I looked really closely at the glitters and NONE of them appear to be disintegrating - when that's happening, it's usually very easy to see.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you think of these? Favorites? Mine is Pink Punkin because that color combo is just so fun!

So what I've discovered is that they are jam-packed with glitters like the Fall Chic Collection  (WAY better than having to fish for them or not being able to get them to stick to the brush IMO) and if you take care to use light coats and check the brush between brush dips for glitter clumps, you will have an easy application and perfect finish on all of these.

Did you notice the new bottle size? These are 9mL (mid-sized) bottles and they're the perfect size. I really REALLY didn't like the minis, but these allow for a lower price while being large enough to actually hold onto the bottle properly AND for the maker to get the right mix of glitters. I loved them.

The Fall Chic Collection 2013 is launching tomorrow, Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 11 am CENTRAL time at her site here. They will be available as sets, individually as full-sized bottles and individually as mid-sized bottles. You can also follow Jindie Nails on Facebook for more news and information.

I'm not sure when these collections will be available on their stocklists, but Jindie Polishes are also available at  Llarowe and Mei Mei's Signatures and retail for around $10.00 per bottle for full size. Be sure and follow Llarowe on Facebook and Mei Mei's Signatures on Facebook so you don't miss out on special news and announcements.

Please note that the Fall Chic Collection 2013 will also be launching at the same time. You can see those in my post here.
