Halloween Nail Art: Skulls

Nothing to Disclose

I have another Drop and Run Halloween Mani for you!

Skull Nails

I used Above the Curve Anona as a base with Sinful Colors SinfulShine Mirror Mirror for the "blood" and Milani French White for the skulls. Remember the Revlon nail stencils from last Halloween? That's what I used to make the skulls. I can't even remember which glitter I used. I usually write these things down!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween Jack-O-Lantern and Pumpkins Nail Art

Nothing to Disclose

Halloween Nail Art
Jack-O-Lantern and Pumpkins

So here's the deal. Last year I did a LOT of Halloween manicures and just never got around to posting them. So this year, I decided to do quick "Drop and Run" posts. Better than remembering AFTER Halloween!

This one is just pumpkins and a jack-o-lantern accent nail.

I used a base of Nails Inc. Atomic with Barry M Satsuma for the ridges, Milani Dark Coffee and Jade Crystal Glow 428 Sweet Kiwi for the stems. For the jack-o-lantern features, Milani Dark Coffee and Yellow Whiz.

And more PicMonkey monkeying around of course.

Boo!

NOTD: Halloween Nail Art - Tattered Robes

Nothing to Disclose

Another quick Drop and Run post!

Halloween Nail Art
Tattered Robes

Nail art, thankfully, doesn't have to be fancy - just the "appearance of" usually does the trick. This is a quick and easy spooky stripe mani. I used Elevation Polish River Rock as the base and Pahlish Lady of Raynham Hall alone and mixed with a little white for the shredded robes. And I do love things that don't have to be "perfect," don't you?

Have a great Saturday!

Extend-A-Mani: Halloween Nail Art - Spider Webs

Nothing to Disclose

Halloween Nail Art
Spider Webs

Just a very quick NOTD (Nail of the Day) for Halloween - Spider webs! And it's an Extend-A-Mani!

I need new, thinner brushes, but you get the idea. Mainly I just wanted to play around with PicMonkey again. LOL! I'm not smart enough for Photoshop and I use PicMonkey for collages anyway, so I figured why not play around with the cool effects?

This is the original manicure...

I used Nails Inc. Atomic and Sinful Colors SinfulShine Nouveau Purple for the gradient and Milani black and white cremes for the rest.

Have you done any Halloween Nail Art yet? Please feel free to post your Halloween manis to my Facebook page!

Have a great Friday!

Halloween Nail Art - Zombie Nails!

Nothing to Disclose

Zombie Nails!

I started this mani with a plain black creme and a silver tip gradient using Wet n Wild Black Creme and Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Once Upon a Time and added a little "blood" with Sinful Colors SinfulShine Mirror Mirror. I wore it like that for a day and then decided to play around with it before taking it off completely.

I just kept playing around, deciding to matte it with butter LONDON Matte Finish top coat and add a little more red. I used butter LONDON Bread and Butter Pudding for the middle nail to mute it...

I loved the middle nail with Bread and Butter Pudding on it so I did some random sponging with the red and silver and covered all the nails with Bread and Butter Pudding, applied the matte top coat and re-added some of the red on top...

Looking back, that old adage is true - I probably should have "taken one thing off" - leaving it with just the middle nail muted. What do you think? It's so easy and you can't really do it wrong.

Post your Halloween Nails on my Facebook page and I'll share them!

Scary!!! #thingsthatmakeyougoewww
