Colors by Llarowe: The Mysterious Vanishing Pigments Collection - Swatches

Press Sample
*These products are Cruelty Free

Tonight I have swatches of 7 of the 8 polish in the upcoming Limited Edition Mysterious Vanishing Pigments Collection from Colors by Llarowe.

These are LE because the gorgeous pigment used is no longer available, hence the collection name!

The Mysterious Vanishing Pigments Collection

Continued after the jump...

Blackest Night is a deep charcoal linear holo with a strong blue linear arc and a golden flash - with that glorious color-shifting shimmer/micro-flake.  Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Connie's Saucy Brother is so complex I don't know if I can describe it properly. In its simplest form, it's a blue based crelly with violet shimmer. But then you turn your hand and the light catches it differently and Oh my Giddy Aunt! The color-shifting shimmer/micro-flake particles change from blue to gold to copper to violet to purple to green. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gentle Whispers is a grey/pale blue holographic creme polish with colors-shifting shimmer. The shifts are more subtle in this one but they're all there, the golden and copper being the ones who aren't as shy. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Love and Madness is my favorite of the 7 I've tried. The base is like a sultry elderberry wine full of color-shifting shimmer and flakes. The red in the base comes out more in the shade/indirect natural lighting.  Two coats with one coat of top coat for the photos.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shimmer Me Timbers is a violet purple linear holo with the same color-shifting shimmer/micro-flakes. The red in the base of this one also comes out more in the shade. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Good Old Days is a medium grey with slight green undertones and tons of gold and blue shimmer/micro-flakes - actually I think the gold is the shifting shimmer. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos, although you may need three depending on how heavy your hand is.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Window to My Soul is a magenta holo with color-shifting and pink shimmer. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry I don't have Red Dawn for you yet, but The Girlie Tomboy did some great swatches, along with reviews and you can find photos on the Colors by Llarowe Facebook page.

These, again, are Limited Edition because of the pigments. They will go on sale on the Llarowe site next week. Stay tuned to the Llarowe Facebook page for details and announcements on days and times.

If you enjoyed this post, please take a second to "like" it! Thanks!
