KBShimmer Spring 2014: The Cremes and Holos!

*This product is Cruelty Free

I nearly can't contain my excitement when Christy launches her new collections because I know she's going to knock it out of the park again and she doesn't disappoint with her Spring 2014 Collection. There are CREMES!!! And holos. And glitter crellies. And glitter toppers.

LAUNCHING MARCH 14, 2014

I showed you The Glitters already - if you missed that post, check it out here: KBShimmer Spring 2014: The Glitters! Today, I have The Cremes and Holos to show you.

KBShimmer Spring 2014
The Cremes and Holos

Continued after the jump...

Before I show you individual swatches...you know I had to have a little fun with them!

A quick side gradient using all of the cremes!

And some Spring Flower Nail Art...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are 2 holos - one is a holo topper - and 8 cremes. Of the 8 cremes, 7 are straight up cremes and one has a touch of shy shimmer. These 8 cremes all had the same formula - perfection in 2 easy coats - except for Chick Me Out. I needed a 3rd thin coat on that one just to even it out because it's not quite as self-leveling as the others. The formula is still great, I'd just recommend 3 light coats as opposed to the 2 coats I recommend on the others.

Okay, so let's have a look. I'll just go alphabetically to make it easy.

NOTE: No top coat on any of these so you can see they dry to a super high shine.

A Touch of Glass is really the perfect color of sea glass and it's sort of a mint shade. Two coats. The green in this one shows up more in the artificial lighting photos while the blue comes out to play in the indirect natural lighting photo. This is the one with just a shy hint of shimmer that of course I didn't capture. Because it's shy.

Indirect natural lighting

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chick Me Out is a bright, saturated "peep" yellow creme. I used 3 coats of this one. See notes above.

Indirect natural lighting

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eclipse is a straight black creme and the formula is perfection. Two coats.

Indirect natural lighting

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Honeydew List is a great pastel green and so color-saturated! Two coats. The warm green shows up more in the artificial lighting photos and the coolness is highlighted in the indirect natural lighting photo.

Indirect natural lighting

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Life Rose On is a really saturated cool-toned bright pink. Two coats.

Indirect natural lighting

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Life's Porpoise is a great blue-leaning grey. The blue undertones show up more in the artificial lighting photos but the indirect natural lighting photo is what it looks like in most lighting.

Indirect natural lighting

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pansy-Monium is a great medium purple with more red undertones than blue. Two coats.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prism Break is a holographic topper that can be layered over any polish to make it holo! One coat with one coat of top coat.

Over Eclipse...

Over My Life's Porpoise...

Over Sky Jinks...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quick and Flirty is a violet purple linear holographic polish. Two coats.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sky Jinks is medium dusty sky blue creme. Two coats.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well now you've seen them all! What are your favorites?

It's easier for me to tell you which ones are not my favorites because I pretty much love all of them. Chick Me Out is probably my pick for least favorite only because it's not the best on my skin tone but the formula, like with the others, is amazing.
