The Nail Junkie St. Patrick's Day Collection 2013

I think Monday deserves to start off with a new St. Patrick's Day Collection, don't you?

Let's DO IT! The Nail Junkie's St. Patrick's Day Collection 2013 is available now! There are three polishes: Leprechaun, Shamrock and Pot O' Gold. (Read to the end for a link to a giveaway of this collection!)

The Nail Junkie St. Patrick's Day Collection 2013
Leprechaun, Shamrock and Pot O' Gold

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Leprechaun is described by the maker as a satin white base loaded with green and gold micro-glitters.

This one went on smoothly and was opaque in 2 coats. No issues to report. One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

Shamrock is described by the maker as symbolic polish filled with stems and leaves from a shamrock plant: A clear base with emerald green bar glitter, hex glitters and fine green glitter.

This one is a glitter topper and I layered one coat over Leprechaun - making quick little shamrocks with the glitter pieces on the ring finger - I stole the idea from Aleta at The Nail Junkie! No issues at all - the glitters came out nicely, spread evenly on the nail and laid perfectly flat. One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

Pot O' Gold is described by the maker as a black jelly base filled with gold coins (circle glitter) and fine gold dust (micro glitter).

I layered one coat of Pot O' Gold over a plain black creme here. No issues at all. The glitters all came out of the bottle nicely, spread evenly on the nail and laid perfectly flat. In fact it was so smooth I forgot to top coat for the photos at first! All photos (except the macro) is with one coat of Poshe top coat. The macro has no top coat because I forgot to take more macros after I remembered to top coat.

What do you think of this collection? I loved all three. Anything to do with St. Patrick's Day always gets me, but the formula and application on these was terrific and the circle glitters in Pot O' Gold certainly don't hurt - I do love those circle glitters!
