Me.Lissa Custom Nail Lacquer - Pinch Me

Tonight I finally have Pinch Me, which was part of the St. Patrick's Day Collection. If you remember, I had an issue with the formula and when I contacted the owner, she was already aware and had fixed it and shipped a replacement bottle out to me immediately. It's my fault that I'm just now getting to show it to you because I had it within days.

Here's what the creator had to say about Pinch Me:

"Pinch Me" is part of my St. Patrick's Day Collection. It has a mixture of various sizes of green hexes and squares, gold hexes, and small black hexes in a pearlized base. Very shimmery and pretty.

I'm wearing this one a lone with two medium coats and one generous coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

When I contacted her to tell her I couldn't use Pinch Me, she was already aware of the problem and had fixed it -  and she couldn't have been nicer. That's what I look for in customer service so with these three and her response to an issue, she's already earned a few gold stars in my book. So what do you think of this one?

And a little information on Melissa, the woman behind Me.Lissa Custom Nail Lacquer - here's what she had to say:

I started frankening about 2 years ago. I had a mishap when I first used glitters in polish. After that, I really made an effort to find good suppliers and test all my glitters. My oldest polishes are about a year and a half old, and all my glitters are solvent resistant. I also tried a few different bases. The first one I tried smelled beyond terrible, and some were too thick. The one I'm currently using I first tried about a year ago, and I really like the consistency.

My frankening experiment started as making glitters that I would want to wear. Then I started making them as gifts for family and friends. I really enjoyed the whole creative process, and of course my friends loved the polishes, so they encouraged to me try to start my own line. The name really came from the polishes being "me". An expression of the colors I like, the combinations I think look great together, and the things I get inspiration from. So I came up with Me.Lissa. It's a little scary, but I'm also super excited to show off my creations! I already have a couple more lines that I'm planning, so I'm hoping people like my polishes so I can keep coming out with more.

Me.Lissa Custom Nail Lacquer can be purchased at her Etsy shop here and the full-sized bottles retail for $8.75. Also be sure and follow her on Facebook here for colors, swatches and other information.

  3. Hate to say this, but even on your lovely nails that doesn't look good. Lumpy glitters in a frosty base :(
