Foxy Paws - I'm Blue, Cosmic Girl and Black or White

Good evening! Tonight I have a new-to-me indie brand to show you that I just sort of fell in love with. And they're hand made in Denmark by the creator, Charlotte! Foxy Paws is a 4-Free and cruelty-free indie polish brand mixed with a passion for music and glitter. The three I am showing you this evening are from The 90s Collection - inspired by music of the 90s.

First up, I'm Blue. Charlotte describes her inspiration: Originally sung by Eiffel 65 and part of my dance routine when I just started going clubbing. Drinking soda pops and buying marshmallows from the teenage club candy stall. Good times! And therefore it was a no-brainer that this to die for royal blue colour should be filled with amazing holographic shimmer.

I loved this one so much. I used 2 coats and no top coat for the photos. Absolutely no issues with formula or application. Went on like a dream. Jelly.

The next three photos are slightly blurred to show the holo better since I had no sun.

Next is Cosmic Girl. Charlotte describes her inspiration: Jamiroquai is such a funky band, and I love nearly every single tune they've made. So it was difficult for me to choose which one to include in the 90's line, but I ended up with Cosmic Girl, because it gave me the biggest inspiration. This black based polish comes with a lot of blue shimmer and holographic glitter.

This one is like a galaxy on your nails. I used two coats and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. No issues at all with formula or application. Crelly.

And finally, Black or White. When I first saw this in the bottle I thought "Oh great - another black and white glitter." I was WRONG! This one is special and unique and not like any I've tried before. Charlotte describes her inspiration: Originally sung by Michael Jackson, who, as we know, transformed himself from black to white. So naturally this polish will do the same. When your fingers are warm, it will turn clear and show off the colour beneath, be that bare nail or a colour. When cold, the polish turns black. But Black or White, the wonderful black and white glitter will show and sparkle up your day.

I did layer this one over a color because no one wants to see my bare nails. I layered one medium coat over Nails Inc. Tavistock Street, a medium grey creme. No top coat for the photos. The base is slightly tinted a pale grey - I suspect it isn't really a tint but whatever allows it to be temperature sensitive. The glitters spread nicely on the nail and laid flat. There is a noticeable color shift with the cold, but being here in HOT South Texas, I suspect that it wasn't as strong for me because of that and didn't turn an actual black. What I love is that it dries to a matte or rubber finish! Made it totally unique for me.

For the next photo I dipped my index finger in ice water to induce the shift and you can see that it's slightly darker.

Here I layered 2 coats over a bare nail wheel - first photo is natural and second photo is after I put it in the freezer for about 5 seconds.
