Ready for the other St. Patrick's Day polish from Ninja Polish? (To see my swatches of Shillelagh, click here.) This one is a Floam® polish! Shamrock Floam®!
Shamrock Floam® is described by the maker as follows:
| Shamrock Floam® has matte green and white fine glitter in a clear base. This polish is being released in conjunction with not only St Patrick's day (fun fun) but also with the theatrical release of Oz, the Great and Powerful...so exciting! So get your bottle of Shamrock Floam®...it's magically delicious! It has complete coverage in two to three coats and can be used as a layering polish with one coat. Floam® is generally a thicker based polish so ensure that you let each coat dry COMPLETELY, longer than you would other polishes. With topcoat or Gelous, Floam® can have a shiny finish. However, this polish dries with a matte finish, and the glitter itself does not sparkle. I don't find the Floam® polishes to take noticeably longer to dry, but I follow pretty quickly with a generous coat of Poshe, as I have here for the photos. First, layered over Illamasqua MILF and then over a plain black creme. No issues to report at all. Over Illamasqua MILF...

What do you think of Shamrock Floam®? I can't decide whether I like it best over the green or the black! The Floams® remind me of how I buy shoes...when I find a pair that works, I buy them in every color! Green? Check. Now I'm just waiting on a violet/magenta Floam® and a purple Floam®!!!

ReplyDeleteDid you try wearing it alone? I have 3 floams...the original floam, sunny floam, and girly floam. They are fun to layer over other polishes but I love them best alone. They all are opaque after about 3 coats. I would love to see this one alone.
