Nails Inc. Leather Effects

This afternoon I have the new Nails Inc. Leather Effects polishes to show you.

There are three Leather Effects polishes that you can purchase separately or in a box set with skull appliques. I got them each alone because as cute as skulls are, they wouldn't have worked on my nails at all.

All three of these has the same formula and application. They're much like the Zoya Pixie Dust polishes in that respect. No issues at all. I used two light coats of each one and no top coat for the photos. (Note: I did try a top coat on them and it didn't work out like it does on the Zoya Pixie Dust polishes. It just looked splotchy.)

First, Soho Mews, the tan one.

Noho is the black one.

Shoreditch Lane - the red one.

What do you think of these?  I'll admit at arm's length, they do have sort of a leather look about them.

Nails Inc. polishes are available in limited colors in the US at Sephora.com and a few other e-tailers. Unfortunately, the Nails Inc.com site in the UK doesn't ship to the US...yet. Thankfully I have a few friends in the UK. =) These Leather Effects polishes are available at Sephora, though!

If you enjoyed this post, please take a second to "like" it! Thanks!

  1. They DO look like leather, which is neat. Sadly, I'm not a fan of these particular colors. Love your macro shots!

  6. Okay, so I'm dying to know--how hard are these to get off your nails?

    1. I didn't use any base coat and I wore the black for a couple of days. I had no issue removing it - totally different than glitter. I had a bit more of a struggle removing the Zoya ones, but these came off easily.

  7. These look quite interesting - have you tried the Nails Inc Concrete ones and if so how do they compare?

I got one of the Concrete ones and I wasn't sure about the effect at all - the granulation was a bit open and far apart for my taste - but these look nicer :)

  8. The black looks the most like leather to me. I like the red one the best, though. The macros of the tan and the read look more like grit or air bubbles than leather to me. The black still has a leather effect in the macro to me.
