Literary Lacquers - More Like Fire Than Light

Happy Friday! I have a gorgeous polish from Literary Lacquers to show you today - More Like Fire Than Light...part of The Good Parts Collection.

More Like Fire Than Light was inspired as described by the maker here:

This polish is inspired by Delta of Venus by Anais Nin, written in the 1940s and published after the author’s death in 1977. The short stories in this collection were commissioned by a mysterious man known only as “The Collector” The Collector wanted more pornography and less poetry, I am not sure how successful Anais was at this...Her glow was not of that nature. She was much more like fire than light." - Anais Nin

It's a gorgeous juicy orange linear holographic polish that's about the same color as my hair. <grin> I used three light coats for and had no issues at ALL with formula or application. No top coat for the photos.

And I've already had questions about how close this one is to Literary Lacquers Greatest Treasures so here ya go!

Greatest Treasures is much more pink.

What do you think of this one? I, for one, am in love with it.

This is part of the new collection that launched a few days ago - March 18, 2013 - at her Etsy shop here. You can also follow on Facebook here to stay up-to-date on the goings-on over at Literary Lacquers. I have a few more from the collection that I hope to show you tomorrow so stay tuned!

  1. Hooooooly moly that's amazing! Really really stunning, and just my kind of thing. I've never seen anything quite like that. Actually, I think it's the first time I've seen an indie polish that I want!
