China Glaze Wagon Trail Swatches and Review

China Glaze Wagon Trail is from the Fall 2008 Rodeo Diva collection and I'm just now getting it! In 2008, I'm afraid I thought nail polishes should be red/pink/peach/mauve/light taupe. Expand horizons? CHECK!

This is a blackened base chock full of golden shimmer. In some lights, it's green, in some it's gold and in others, it's just brown. It's definitely a brown that's suited for cool skin tones, but also, because of the golden shimmer can go quite well with warm skin tones. It positively GLOWS! The last photo shows the shimmer, mostly golden, but you can see other colors in it as well.

Application, as with most China Glaze polishes, was fantastic and I probably could have gotten away with one coat if I'd taken care and applied a slightly thicker coat. But I used two.

I can tell this is going to be one of my favorites for Fall and Winter. Since I don't really wear straight black, this will fill that hole quite nicely.

It's still available online. I got mine from head2toebeauty.com for $3.00!
