Thrifty Thursday! Wet n Wild MegaLast Tropicalia

I have several of Wet n Wild's MegaLast colors and I just love the formula!  They're quick and easy to apply. Tropicalia is a great pinkish coral creme. The formula is great and it's opaque and even in two coats. I used a base, one thin coat of color and another to even it out. I'm cheating a little because I didn't take the photos until the 3rd day so you can see some tip wear, but for me (My Native American name is She Who Types on the Computer all Day) to get 3 days with minimal tip wear is outstanding.

And look!  It matches the shirt I'm wearing!  While I do make sure my polish doesn't clash with what I am wearing, I don't usually match exactly.  Happy accident.

This is a really difficult color for me to capture so I've taken photos in different lighting in an attempt to compensate for my lack of photography skills. But I AM getting better...slowly.  And hope to take some photography classes in the near future.

First up - the most color accurate, I think. In indirect natural midday sun...

Next, in really bright lighting...

And finally, in indirect natural lighting - just as the sun was peeking over the horizon...

I've done a lot of box-moving and cleaning in the last couple of days, so my cuticles are looking a little shabby.

But what a great color!  Here in extreme southern Po-Dunk USA, it's still very summery and yes, still flip-flop weather.
