Paint Box Polish: Dragons Are a Girl's Best Friend Collection - Swatches and Review

*These products are Cruelty Free

Happy Saturday!

Hope you guys are doing well and enjoying the holiday season. I'm having my annual date with pneumonia. But it could be worse, at least the dislocated shoulder issue is no longer bothering me! I think December just hates me.

But I haz purty fingahs! (and a 20% off discount code for you at the end of the post!)

Today I have a new collection from Paint Box Polish to show you. By now Paint Box Polish and Harry Potter are synonymous in my head but these are different! DRAGONS!

Paint Box Polish
Dragons Are a Girl's Best Friend Collection

Continued after the jump...

A Dragon is Not a Slave is a bright green jelly/crelly positively loaded with green holographic micro-glitter. Inspired by Rhaegal from The Game of Thrones. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

All the Powers of Hell is a purple crelly with black triangles and neon green squares and hexes - and I'm not sure if there are yellow hexes as well or if that's just how the green ones read in the purple base. Inspired by the dragon in Maleficent. Two coats with one coat of top coat for the photos.

I Am Fire is a medium taupe-y brown metallic shimmer with teal and copper micro-flakes/sparks. Inspired by Smaug from The Hobbit series. Two coats with one coat of top coat for the photos.

I Like Children is a white creme/crelly with brown and copper micro-glitter along with a smattering of rainbow flakes. Inspired by Falkor from the Neverending Story. Two coats with one coat of top coat for the photos.

What do you think? Favorites? My favorite is, surprisingly, I Like Children! Generally crelly glitters aren't my favorites, but this one is more of a creme and the varying shades of grey appearance the brown glitters in the white base give is striking. Also, A Dragon is Not a Slave matted? C'mon! That's such a cool look!

She is now using her new 5-Free base for all of her polishes and it's fantastic!

You can find these polishes at Paint Box Polish on Big Cartel and be sure to follow Pam's blog for information as well as the Paint Box Polish Facebook page! These retail for $9.00 for full-sized bottles. You can also find her on Twitter and Instagram.
