Me.Lissa Custom Nail Lacquer - St. Patrick's Day Collection

Good evening! Tonight I have a new collection from a new indie polish maker to show you! Me.Lissa Custom Nail Lacquer has produced a collection perfect for St. Patrick's Day.

Me.Lissa Custom Nail Lacquer
Paddy's Pub, Lucky Leprechaun, Lots O'Luck and Pinch Me

First up, my favorite, Paddy's Pub. Here's what Melissa had to say: "Paddy's Pub" is part of my St. Patrick's Day Collection. It has a mixture of white and green shreds, white bars, white, silver and green hexes, and a pinch of black and gold glitters, all in a clear base.

I applied 2 coats of this one over Zoya Dove, a pale dove grey. No issues at all. The formula and application were great. One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

Next up, Lucky Leprechaun. Here's what Melissa had to say about this one: "Lucky Leprechaun" is part of my St. Patrick's Day Collection. It has a mixture of various sizes of green, gold, white and black hexes and squares, and silver micro glitter, in slightly tinted shimmer base.

I layered this one over Sinful Colors Exotic Green, a bright grass green. No issues at all. Everything spread nicely on the nail and laid flat. One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

Lots O'Luck is described by Melissa as follows: "Lots O' Luck" is part of my St. Patrick's Day Collection. It has a mixture of micro and small emerald and gold glitters, and a pinch medium white, green and gold glitters, all in a lovely green base.

This one didn't need to be layered. I used two coats on its own and didn't have any issues. One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

I am waiting on a replacement for Pinch Me before I show you that one. It's been reformulated and I will be showing it to you in a few days...depending on the USPS, that is. When I contacted her to tell her I couldn't use Pinch Me, she was already aware of the problem and had fixed it -  and she couldn't have been nicer. That's what I look for in customer service so with these three and her response to an issue, she's already earned a few gold stars in my book.

What do you think of these three? Which is your favorite?

And a little information on Melissa, the woman behind Me.Lissa Custom Nail Lacquer - here's what she had to say:

I started frankening about 2 years ago. I had a mishap when I first used glitters in polish. After that, I really made an effort to find good suppliers and test all my glitters. My oldest polishes are about a year and a half old, and all my glitters are solvent resistant. I also tried a few different bases. The first one I tried smelled beyond terrible, and some were too thick. The one I'm currently using I first tried about a year ago, and I really like the consistency.

My frankening experiment started as making glitters that I would want to wear. Then I started making them as gifts for family and friends. I really enjoyed the whole creative process, and of course my friends loved the polishes, so they encouraged to me try to start my own line. The name really came from the polishes being "me". An expression of the colors I like, the combinations I think look great together, and the things I get inspiration from. So I came up with Me.Lissa. It's a little scary, but I'm also super excited to show off my creations! I already have a couple more lines that I'm planning, so I'm hoping people like my polishes so I can keep coming out with more.

Me.Lissa Custom Nail Lacquer can be purchased at her Etsy shop here and the full-sized bottles retail for $8.75. Also be sure and follow her on Facebook here for colors, swatches and other information.
