Serum No. 5 - Starry Nights

Tonight I have the first in a series of polishes from Serum No. 5 to show you!

Serum No. 5

This time I have Starry Nights for you. Starry Nights is described by the maker as silver holographic stars, off white, gold, lavender and sapphire glitter in a shimmering deep blue base. Perfect description. I've layered this one over a coordinating base of of Pure Ice All Night Long. I didn't have any issues with formula or glitters. I did have to fish for and place the stars. Everything laid perfectly flat on the nail. The star on the side of the ring finger is my poor placement, not the fault of the polish. My nails have a stupid-high arch. I used one generous coat of Poshe to smooth it all out.

  2. Gorgeous!! And with the generous layer of top coat, it almost makes the polish look like it's under glass or in a marble. (Hope that made sense lol)

  3. This is a perfect representation of the Van Gogh paintings Starry Night and Cafe Terrace at Night. I absolutely love both and now, I NEED this polish! ~le sigh~

  4. That is a very cool polish! And that base makes it really pop out.

  5. So pretty! I wish I could get star glitter to lay flat on my nails. I think it would be easier with much smaller stars.

  7. I really don't like all the big glitter the indies are now putting in polish. All the stars, hearts, diamonds, butterflies, flowers and shatters all stick up and it is very hard to get a smooth nail.
