butter LONDON Two Fingered Salute - Swatches and Review

Today I have butter LONDON's Two Fingered Salute. First, let me just say that whoever thinks up the names of these polishes needs a raise. Some of them are hysterically funny! (For those who don't know, a Two Fingered Salute, or V-Sign, is basically like saying "up yours" - it's a V made with the middle and index fingers, but with the palm facing in, toward the "giver." When the palm is facing out, it's generally taken as a peace sign. But a LOT of different hand gestures mean a lot of different things in different countries, so best not make any hand gestures when traveling unless you know EXACTLY what you're doing. LOL!)

Two Fingered Salute is one of the 3 Nordstrom Exclusive shades recently released by butter LONDON. There have been so many new ones from BL lately that it's hard to keep up! This one is a medium sage green loaded with copper micro-flake particles. It's not the best shade of green on me, but I LOVE the color anyway. And I love that it's both simple AND complex at the same time. I think the fact that they've used micro-flakes rather than micro-glitter really gives it that extra bit of interest while it still remains work-appropriate and chic.  Application was smooth and easy. Great formula. (And for those wondering, removal was a breeze.) I've used two coats and no top coat for the photos.

  2. I love this so much!! The copper and green together reminds me of outdoor metal (copper?) furniture when it starts to do that weathered thing...there's a name for it, but I can't think of it. Not vertigo...but something like that? Maybe? Anyone? Bueller? Lol. Anyway, I need this!!
