This is BY FAR the best duochrome I have. In fact, it's actually a multichrome. Hard Candy isn't a brand you'd think of immediately for those "fancy" finishes. It's a "drug store" brand and quite inexpensive compared to Chanel and even OPI or Orly. But Beetle definitely rocks and is aptly named.

The application was easy. This is one coat over the medium mushroom shade I was wearing (Orchid's Ain't No Sunshine) but it could be worn alone with opacity in 2 or 3 coats, I'm fairly certain. I've swatched it over several colors I had on a random color wheel and it's the same on several colors, so it doesn't really matter what you use as a base, unlike some duochromes that do better on a black base.
