I'm working on the Girly Bits 80s Girl Band Collection for you tomorrow but tonight I have a super gorgeous one that's currently available on Girly Bits' site - a collaboration polish with Jen from Polishaholic for her 4th anniversary! It's called Darkly Dreaming and it's like the green version of Cu Blue, one of my favorite Girly Bits polishes!

piCture pOlish Shy Violet - Swatches and Review

Nothing to Disclose
*This product is Cruelty Free

Happy Saturday! Hope you're enjoying your weekend so far! Mine has consisted of crawling in and out from under my car trying to replace a strut. Hot. Frustrating. BUT my nails, I must say, are gorgeous. I'm wearing one of the new piCture pOlish Collaboration Shades - Shy Violet!

Shy Violet was created in collaboration with Rachel aka Glam Polish and is described by piCture pOlish as an "electric neon purple jelly scattered holo." I'd call it purple for sure but it does lean to the red-violet side of the spectrum slightly. It's totally gorgeous. The scattered holo particles are like tiny flakes and they sparkle like mad in the sun. This one is a jelly so I used three coats for opacity and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. No issues whatsoever to report.

(*The last photo, a macro shot, is without top coat so you can see that it dries to a "wax" or semi-matte finish. This is actually how I prefer to wear this one.)

Jini Goes Indie! Collaboration Polish with MakeupMom123 and Girly Bits

Press Sample
*This product is Cruelty Free

Happy Monday! Today I have a special Limited Edition Polish called Jini Goes Indie! which is a collaboration polish with Girly Bits for MakeupMom123's one year blogaversary to show you! Stay tuned through the end of this post for a link to an awesome giveaway!

Jini Goes Indie! by Girly Bits and MakeupMom123

Since there are at least 25 different glitters in this polish, I'm just going to let you look at the photos and see if YOU can pick them all out! Jini Goes Indie! is a clear-based glitter polish and for a celebratory polish commemorating such an occasion all I can say is WOW! The formula and application on this one was great. The glitters are well suspended and how you see it on the nails is how it came out with the brush. I didn't do any dabbing or placing. (NOTE: As with all glitter polishes, I use a toothpick to scrape down the sides and across the bottom to "float" the glitters before using.) Two coats of Jini Goes Indie! and one coat of Poshe top coat for all the photos. (Any bubbles are the result of my top coat in extreme South Texas heat and NOT the polish itself.)
