Foxy Paws Let's Have a Kiki - Swatches and Review

*This product is Cruelty Free

Foxy Paws
Let's Have a Kiki
Filthy/Gorgeous Collection

Can you tell I'm loving the Glow-in-the-Dark polishes today?

Foxy Paws and their sister brand Well Nails are Danish indie polish brands and are cruelty-free and 4-free.

Let's Have a Kiki  is from the Filthy/Gorgeous Collection, which was inspired by the fabulous Scissor Sisters! It's an orange glitter jelly polish with yellow, white and hot pink glitters and shards. And it glows in the dark!

Darling Diva Polish - Lucky Star

Press Sample
*This product is Cruelty Free

I'm back again with another lovely polish from Darling Diva Polish - Lucky Star! This one is from her Madonna Collection and was inspired by the song of the same name.

Darling Diva Polish Lucky Star

Lucky Star is black and neon green stars along with neon pink glitters in a sheer white crelly glow in the dark base that also glows under black light. I had no issues with this one. I didn't have to dig for the stars or do any dabbing - I just watched what was on the brush as I went. (NOTE: As with all glitter polishes, I use a toothpick to drag down the sides and across the bottom to "float" the glitters before use.) One coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. I didn't do the best job at capturing the glow-in-the-dark or black-light properties, but you can still get an idea. I layered Lucky Star over alternating Zoya GieGie and a plain white creme base for the photos.

Serum No. 5 Glowmeleon Collection Part 2 of 2

Press Sample
*This product is Cruelty Free

Good morning! As promised, I have part 2 of 2 of the new Serum No. 5 Glowmeleon Collection to show you! (If you missed Part 1, click here. You don't want to miss any of them or the shimmer matte top coat!)

These swatches may look different because I'm using my RIGHT hand for this post. I know...every nail blogger's nightmare. But the polishes are great so hopefully it won't distract you too much.

The last 3 in this collection are Eternal Sunshine, Sunset Flare and Twilight Sparks.

Serum No. 5 Eternal Sunshine

Serum No. 5 Sunset Flare

Serum No. 5 Twilight Sparks

All three of these had the same formula and application. No issues at all to report. I used two coats of each one with no top coat. They spread nicely on the nail and dried quickly. Twilight Sparks had a slightly more textured feel to it when it dried and while it sort of has the look of a sand or textured polish, it really wasn't rough. One coat of regular top coat would make it totally smooth to the touch but I preferred the look without top coat.

Ninja Polish Howling Blue Moon - Swatches and Review

Ready for more Ninja Polish Halloween polish?

This one is Howling Blue Moon - it's a blue shimmer base with silver holo crescent moons and holo glitter pieces. I used two coats for full opacity and didn't have any issues. The formula is good and it goes on easily. I got two moons randomly on my first coat and a few more on the second coat. But I'm uh...retentive? So I fished out a few more to have at least one on each nail. I used one coat of Poshe and everything laid flat on the nail, however, I would recommend two coats or maybe a coat of Gelous for a totally smooth feel because of the moons. AND...it glows in the dark!!!!!

SoFlaJo Open All Night and Girls Night Glitter - Swatches and Review

This evening I'm showing you a couple of polishes from SoFlaJo's new Life's a Beach Collection 2012!

Open All Night is an iridescent green hued polish with gold glass flecks that can be layered or worn alone and it glows in the dark too! I'm showing you Open All Night alone over all but the accent finger. There I've layered it over a medium green creme. I used 4 coats alone and one coat for layering. Polish flowed smoothly and I had no issues with application. No top coat.

And of course I had to attempt to show you the glow in the dark properties! I really didn't have a clue how to do it, but thankfully Sarah with Chalkboard Nails came to my rescue! I still didn't manage to capture it like she would have, but I'm learning! (Thanks Sarah!) Not sure why the accent finger didn't show!

Then I decided to try Girls Night Glitter for a "reverse gradient." Girls Night Glitter is a blue-based polish with blue, black and hot pink glitter pieces.
