Emily de Molly - Oceanic Forces

*This product is Cruelty Free

Happy Monday! Hope the weekend treated you well. My guy took me gambling this past weekend for my birthday and while I didn't "clean their clocks" I did come back with a little more than I left with, so it was okay! So...I have a happy polish to show you this morning. I'm not sure why, but circle glitters make me happy.

Emily de Molly Oceanic Forces is the teal version of Cosmic Forces and it's just full of happy circles in varying sizes - in a teal jelly base.

Here's what the creator had to say about Oceanic Forces:

BASE - Dark teal jelly.

GLITTER - Turquoise holo dots and hex.

Fishing WILL be required as the large glitters have a tendency to sink and slide off the brush. A gentle shake before use will help distribute the glitter.

OPAQUE - in 2-3 coats depending on application.

-------------------------------------

I actually didn't have much of an issue at all getting the glitters out and on the nail. As is my habit with all glitter polishes, I use a toothpick and scrape down the side and across the bottom of the bottle when I first open them...gets the glitters "all mixed up and floaty." I wore it alone with 2 medium coats and one generous coat of Poshe top coat.

Continued after the jump...

  1. I think it looks absolutely fabulous!
I bought this myself, but am hesitating to actually try it on, because I fear that it isn't going to be looking as good on me as on all the pretty swatches I've seen.. :)

    1. Sure it will! Just use THIN coats and let then dry a bit in between! And of course do the toothpick thing so you don't have to dig for glitters or "place" them. I wanna see when you wear it!

  3. Lovely! I have this one, and it's a little harder to get the big dots out of this one than Cosmic Forces, but I found shaking the bottle in between fingers to be sufficient. Picked more than a few dots off the base of the brush to apply. The formula on this really is just wonderful.
