Darling Diva Polish - BJ, I'm Sweet on You and Cherubic

Are you just SOOOO over Christmas? How about some Valentine's Day themed polishes? I have a few to show you over the next few posts! Tonight I have BJ, I'm Sweet on You and Cherubic.

BJ is described by the maker as follows:

BJ is named after my soon to be sister in law Bobbi Jo (BJ), this polish is a hot pink metallic soft linear polish with a scatter of holographic glitters for added bling.

The swatches are 2 coats alone with a good base coat.

This is different than your other holos because I use five different grades of holographic medium. This is also why it costs a bit more. Its the best of both worlds.

Please note you need to shake this product before you use it.

Hehehe - so what did you THINK it meant? Geesh. I used two coats of this one alone for opacity and had no issues with application. The formula was nice and smooth. The holographic properties of this one is quite unique - not a strong linear, but it has a lot of depth. No top coat for photos.

I'm Sweet On You is a very sweet, girly glitter polish in a milky, pinky-lavender tinted base. I layered one coat of this one over a plain white creme polish. The various shades of purple glitters in this one, along with the slightly tinted base, give this one a more purple/lavender look than pink, overall. I have issues with finding a perfect white creme formula as a base, but I had no issues with the formula of this polish. It wasn't too thick or too thin and spread very nicely. No dabbing or placing of glitters involved. One coat of Poshe to make it totally smooth.

And finally, Cherubic. Cherubic is described by the maker as a light pink crelly base with purple and pink glitters and a few pink hearts tossed in for good measure. Some of you little angels might find this appealing. The hearts are not a heavy component. They were not meant to be on every nail. If you want a mix with more hearts please note that in the comments and I will add more hearts to your order.

Because I have thicker, stained nails, I decided to layer this one over a plain white creme as well. I did randomly get a few hearts on each hand, which isn't something I generally like (hearts I mean) but because these are sparse, it didn't overwhelm me at all. The formula was the same as I'm Sweet on You and spread nicely with no issues. And it has some circle glitters! One coat of Poshe made it perfectly smooth.
