Sparkles by Julie: Coco and Moon Dust

Good Monday Morning! I'm back and I have a couple of polishes from a new-to-me indie polish maker: Sparkles by Julie.

Coco is a rich, warm brown shimmer polish full of holographic and gold glitter pieces. I used two coats of this one alone and it's almost opaque in one! No issues with application or formula and all the glitter pieces spread evenly and laid nicely on the nail. One coat of Gelous for the photos however, you may need two coats or a quick dry top coat over the Gelous as it is a bit top coat hungry.

And then I decided to do a little "nail art" if you can call it that. It's not my forte but it sure is fun!I did Rudolph on an accent nail.

Moon Dust is a silvery-grey polish and is part of the Galaxy Collection. This one is described as drying matte but I did not find that to be the case. I have several different great matte top coats, so it wasn't a problem for me that it didn't dry matte for me. If I want it matte, I can always use a matte topper. It didn't dry super high gloss either though. I used two coats of this one alone - shown with no top coat in the first photos and with a top coat in the "nail art" photo. No issues to report. Formula was smooth and I didn't really notice any streaks like polishes like this can give you. You might see a very slight bit of it in the close up photos but you absolutely can't in real life.

And I tried a little nail art with this one too...snow tips and a snowman on the accent nail!
