A Box, Indied - April 2016
Take Me Out to the Ballgame

I'm baaaaack! Tonight I have swatches of the April A Box Indied for you. This month's theme is Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Jumping right in...

KBShimmer Fireball - This one is a clear-based glitter topper with red metallic hex glitters and white hex and circle glitters and a sprinkling of holo micro-glitter/shimmer. I've layered one coat over a pink creme base with one coat of top coat. I also did a grey creme accent nail in the last 2 photos. No issues at all. Glitters come out easily and I didn't need to fish for or place any of them. They lie flat on the nail.

Great Lakes Lacquer If You Swatch It They Will Come - this one is a medium green with a slight hint of mint. It's full of multi-chrome flakes. I tried to pick out the colors but since they're multi chrome, they keep changing LOL! Mariah was trying' to trick me! I used 2 coats and one coat of top coat. No issues at all. Formula was smooth and easy.

Darling Diva There's No Crying in Baseball - this one is a medium blue subtle holo with shimmer that shifts from green to gold. Indoors it has a more slate blue look and you can see the shimmer shifts. In the sun it's a brighter more cornflower blue and you can see the holo. Two coats and one coat of top coat. Formula was perfect - smooth and easy.

Contrary Polish Outta the Park - this one is a teal creme base full of multi-chrome flakes - again, shifting from one color to the next depending on the light. Keep an eye on the larger flake on the ring finger to see it change from photo to photo LOL! Two coats and one coat of top coat. No issues at all. Nicely self-leveling and creamy smooth application.

CbL Batter Batter Swing - this one was the hardest to photograph because I haven't figured out how to tell my camera it's not BLUE! This one is a violet blurple, which seems contradictory. It should either be a red purple or a blue purple, right? So, you can decide for yourself what to call it because I took photos with my cell phone that are actually color-accurate. Two coats with one coat of top coat. No issues to report at all. The first one is artificial lighting and you can see the blue side more. The next ones are in the sun and are what it looked like on me most of the time.  And finally a shade photo, which is fairly accurate for shade. I'm sorry the photos aren't as large because of the cell pics.

This box launches for pre-order at Llarowe on April 1st and the pre-order will remain open through April 4th so that everyone has a chance to order.

The price will still be $50 and the free shipping for the US is still in effect on the Llarowe site.

Because this is essentially a maker collaboration box, like before, and not specifically a Llarowe product, rewards points will not be accrued for ABI. Please remember this ships from a different location so it must be ordered separately from any other items. Shipping will begin on or about the 15th.

There is no limit on how many boxes you can order.
