Darling Diva: Naughty Limericks 2016 Edition Collection - Swatches and Review

If you've been reading long, you'll already know that my favorite holiday is St. Patrick's Day. No one expects anything. No one is disappointed over something not going "as expected" because there's nothing built up in our minds of what "should" happen. It's just a happy, celebratory, fun holiday!

So I'm always excited when we don't go from Valentine's Day straight to Easter. I don't know WHY some people just skip right over this one! But Darling Diva didn't! So today I have her new collection called Naughty Limericks 2016 Edition! And just in the nick of time, too as it launches TONIGHT at 7 pm CST.

Darling Diva Polish
Naughty Limericks 2016 Edition

There Was a Young Spaceman from Venus - This one is a predominantly gold, clear-based, glitter bomb with multi-colored glitters as well. This one is opaque on its own in 2 coats, as shown here with one coat of top coat. No issues at all with formula or application.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Out West Lived a Cowboy Named Rick - This one is a green (and maybe blue as well?), clear-based glitter polish full of green micro-glitter and larger gold metallic glitters.  This one was also opaque in two coats, as shown here with one coat of top coat. No issues at all with formula or application.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the Dark Side There Was a Darth Vader - This one is a murky forest green-tinted jelly full of holo micro-glitter/shimmer and what looks to be various iridescent flake shards in green and blue and gold micro-glitter. I used 3 light coats of this one and one coat of top coat for the photos. No issues at all with formula or application.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Old King Billy Had a Ten Foot Willy - This one is an off-white crelly flake polish with a bit of holo, aqua and gold flakes/shards and some gold holo micro-glitter. I used three thin coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.  No issues at all with formula or application.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Legend Tells of a Knight Named Sir Hunt - This one is a subtle and sexy "metalure-type" holo in a deep green-leaning teal. Perfect smooth and easy formula and application. I used 2 coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Girl with a Shiny Trombone - This one is a pale golden polish full of holo and green, blue and gold micro-glitters. This was opaque in 2 coats, as shown here with one coat of top coat. No issues at all with formula or application.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you think? Favorites? My favorite is always going to be the subtler, sexy "metalure-type" holo like in Legend Tells of a Knight Named Sir Hunt, of course, but I was surprised that I liked Old King Billy so much. It has to be the crelly flakies combo because crelly glitters were never a favorite. It's just stunning!
