KBShimmer Fall 2014 - Swatches and Review

*These products are Cruelty Free

Tonight I have swatches of 6 of the 9 new KBShimmer Fall 2014 Collection for you. I've already had a little fun playing around with a few of them, like the Whimsical Floral Nail Art I showed you the other day. So let's have a look at the swatches!

KBShimmer
Fall 2014

Continued after the jump...

A Raisin to Live is a sexy, rich burgundy jelly base full of holographic small glitters and shimmers. I'm so happy I chose this one. Initially I was just going to get the cremes instead of the entire collection, but at the last minute I decided on this one as well and I'm so happy with it. Great formula. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

Rust No One is a stunning orange-coral linear holo polish with a great violet flash in the holo arc. Perfect formula. Two coats and no top coat for the photos.

Here's a cute mani I did with the above 2 polishes and KBShimmer's nail vinyls...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kiss and Spell is a clear-based glitter topper with yellow, orange, green and purple stars and various other shapes and sizes of matte glitters in black, orange, yellow, purple and green. No issues at all with getting the glitters out of the bottle and they spread nicely on the nail. Well-suspended in the base. Two coats over Rust No One and Hugs and Wishes with one coat of top coat for the photos. This is one of the polishes I received at an event at CosmoProf in Vegas this year.

How You Dune is light putty greige creme. Perfect in two coats. Smooth and easy formula. No top coat for the photos. This is another I received at an event at CosmoProf in Vegas this year.

Hugs and Wishes is dusty lavender creme, with almost a periwinkle look about it against my skin tone. Perfect, creamy smooth formula. Two coats and no top coat for the photos.

Stonewashed is a dusty denim blue creme - same perfect formula as the others. Nicely self-leveling. No issues at all. Two coats and no top coat for the photos.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a mani I did with the above 2 polishes, again using some of the KBShimmer nail vinyls...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And of course the Whimsical Floral nail art I did with How You Dune, Hugs and Wishes and Stonewashed...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you think? Of course you know glitter toppers aren't something I gravitate toward and I can't say that I'll honestly wear Kiss and Spell either except maybe it will be fun for Halloween, but the formula and how well suspended the glitters are means that glitter lovers will adore it! My favorites are Hugs and Wishes, Stonewashed and Rust No One. What are your favorites?
