Darling Diva Polish: The Pageant Collection

Press Sample
*These products are Cruelty Free

Today I have a new collection that launched a few days ago from Darling Diva Polish to show you called The Pageant Collection. This collection was inspired by the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous and the names are, well...different? LOL!

I censor my blog pretty heavily so here's how we're going to do this. I've put the names of each polish ON the collage below so they're not in my searchable text. And the ones I don't type outright, well you'll be able to figure out from the collage. Yeah I'm weird like that. They are pretty hilarious though!

The Pageant Collection

Continued after the jump...

So let's just go alphabetically...

Amer-I-Can is a clear-based glitter topper full of red, white, blue and gold glitters and a lovely bit of shimmer. I'm not sure why, but I just felt like layering this over pink. And I loved it! No issues at all. Two light coats over a random pink with one coat of top coat.

Are We on Cops? is a black linear holo with red micro-glitters. Two coats and no top coat for the photos. I do recommend a top coat for this one to make it smooth to the touch. No issues to report.

As Fake As My "Os" is a berry magenta linear holo with pink micro-glitter. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos. No issues to report.

"Becky" is a purple linear holo with gold micro-glitter. Stunning. No issues to report at all. Two coats with no top coat for the photos.

Choking on Swan Gas is an off-white crelly polish full of gold micro-glitters and blue shimmer. My skin tone does odd things to any shade of white, but these indirect natural lighting photos are pretty color-accurate. No issues at all. Three light coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

I Got Some! is a golden yellow linear holo with gold micro-glitters. No issues with formula or application. Three light coats with no top coat for the photos.

The next one is one of the only two names I personally have any issue with, so I'm calling it Everyone Loves a Winner! You can get the correct name from the collage. This one is one of my favorites though. It's a bright green linear holo with green micro-glitter. It's stunning. No issues to report. Two coats with no top coat for the photos.

LSGC stands for Lutheran Sisterhood Gun Club and it's a silver linear holo with lots of blue/green shimmer. No issues to report. Two coats with no top coat for the photos.

She Had a Fat A$$ Then, She's Got a Fat A$$ Now is my favorite of the collection and it's a coral linear holo with gold micro-glitter. Lovely. No issues at all. Two coats with no top coat for the photos.

Take Down the #^%* Freda Sign (AKA Amber) is a bright medium blue linear holo with holo micro-glitters. No issues to report. Two coats with no top coat for the photos.

The formula on all of these was great. No issues at all with any of them. While I've shown you some of them without top coat, I recommend a top coat with all of them. It doesn't diminish the holo properties and it makes them smooth to the touch. I preferred some without top coat myself but your mileage may vary.

So what do you think? Favorites? Mine are the coral, the green and the silver.
