Cirque Fascination Street - Swatches and Review

Today I have Cirque Fascination Street for you! It's a gorgeous holographic purple that's handmade in NYC.

Cirque Fascination Street

Here's a little info about Cirque from their site:

Cirque is an artisanal line of hand-blended nail polish made in New York.  The name Cirque,
meaning ring or circle, represents the color wheel and the endless color possibilities in the
continuum.  Creator, Annie Pham, sought to develop colors that transcend those of
conventional brands by experimenting with unique pigments and raw materials.  The debut
collection, Dark Horse, is a 12-color arrangement that is diverse in its hues and finishes --
similar to the creative energy that abounds New York.

Cirque nail polish is B3 free, which means it does not contain toluene, formaldehyde and
dibutyl phthalate. Each bottle holds .45 oz / 13.2 ml of product and is hand-mixed by batch
using high quality ingredients such ascosmetic-grade pigments and glitter.  Organic
lavender and clary sage essential oils have been added to lend your hands a subtle scent
after the polish dries.

I had not read this information when I ordered Fascination Street so I wasn't aware of the added
scent. While a regular nail polish smell doesn't bother me at all, added scents do cause me a
problem, especially if they're sweet or floral. This one isn't strong, but I could definitely tell it was
there and it didn't go away after a top coat or washing my hands. Unfortunately, because of this I
had to remove this gorgeous polish and send it on to a new home. Sadness.

The formula was great and I had no problems with application. I used two coats and NO top coat
for the photos.

  2. That's gorgeous, amazing pics. Too bad they felt the need to scent it. :(

  5. Got this beauty for myself too and while I could not stop oogling my nails, I was not pleased with the smell either. I also got Epoch and while that one got a smell too it was a lot less 'in your nose'
