Illamasqua Smash - Swatches and Review

As promised, this evening I'm showing you Illamasqua Smash! It's a bright grass-green creme that applied like butter! Seriously smooth and creamy formula - two coats to full opacity.

Illamasqua Smash

There's not much else to say about it so I'll get right to the photos...I've taken them in various lighting to give you an idea of how this will look throughout the day and in artificial lighting at night.  I know not everyone is in love with green but I LOVE IT!

Two coats, some with top coat and some without (indicated in the photo descriptions below each photo)

First up - artificial lighting, inside at night:

Illamasqua Smash, along with several other Illamasqua colors, is available from Sephora here in the US for $14.00 and the full line is available in various locations throughout the UK, including at Illamasqua.com, for £13.50.

What do you think? Would you wear GREEN nail polish?

  3. Wonderful photos. Yes, I would and do wear green polish...I got to green polish before I really embraced blue other than deep blues or really baby blues. I am curious if you have China Glaze Gaga for Green and if it's close to this one? Just seemed to jump out at me that they looked a lot a like in my mind's eye. I don't have a Sephora for 500 miles that carries 'some' of this brand's polish - so I don't tend to order them unless I die over a shade I see on blogs that is far different from something I have. They do seem to be supreme in how they make a great cream polish!
