Jindie Nails Purple Rain-Bow and Tried and True

Good evening! Right now I have two more polishes from Jindie Nails to show you: Purple Rain-Bow and Tried and True. I'll be showing you nine polishes over the next few days from Jindie Nails! I've already shown you two of her new polishes from her Winter Chic Collection (here) and I've been very happy with quality and amazing customer service.

REMEMBER, you can use code pointlesscafe10 for a 10% discount when ordering!

Purple Rain-Bow is described as a beautiful lavender colored shimmer linear holo polish with a pink/red duochrome flash to it. I found it to lean more toward the blue side of the spectrum but you can definitely tell it's got that purple/lavender quality to it in some of the photos. The only thing I regret is that I wasn't able to capture the linear holo as well as I wanted. You can see it in some of the photos but it is stronger in person. It's not as strong as FNUG or the China Glaze OMG collection but it's definitely linear. Formula was smooth and easy to apply and I used two coats of color with no top coat.

Tried and True is described by the maker as follows: Tried & True is a special polish I made to send out as a gift for some special ladies :). It is NOT in the Winter Chic Collection. It's another white crelly with lots of different colors of metallic glitters including gunmetal, silver, magenta, bright royal blue, purple, teal, lavender & pink. It's super cute and no fishing required. Great full coverage in 2-3 coats. I used three light coats of this one and didn't have any issues. Since my nails are super stained, I think I might add a 4th coat but most people won't need to do that. Photos are with 3 coats and one coat of Gelous. Any bubbling you see in the photos is the Gelous and NOT the polish. The bubbles disappeared  as the Gelous dried.

Jindie Nails Winter Chic - Battle Royale and Dream in Color

Good morning! This morning I have two of the six new polishes from the Winter Chic Collection from Jindie Nails to show you: Battle Royale and Dream in Color. I'll be showing you nine polishes over the next few days from Jindie Nails! I've already shown you quite a few polishes from this polish maker and I've been very happy with quality and amazing customer service. REMEMBER, you can use code pointlesscafe10 for a 10% discount when ordering!

Battle Royale is described as a beautiful royal blue jelly polish with color shifting shimmer that shifts from blue to purple to pink. It has turquoise, magenta, silver, deep purple, violet, lavender, periwinkle metallic and holo glitters and light pink, turquoise and magenta rare round dot metallic glitters throughout. I had no issues at all with application and it went on smooth, especially for how much glitter is packed in! I used only two coats (first one light and 2nd one heavier) for full opacity and one coat of Gelous to smooth everything out. Apologies for the mess I left. I really thought I didn't need clean up until I saw the photos. I'm not sure what happened!

Dream in Color is in a clear base and is described as small matte white, black, neon yellow, pink, neon green and neon blue glitters. This one can be worn alone in 3-4 coats but I used one coat layered over a green base for the photos. One coat of Gelous for a smooth finish. No issues to report at all with this one as it went on smoothly and evenly.

Maya Cosmetics No Big Deal and Smolder

Right now I have two of the newest polishes from Maya Cosmetics for you: No Big Deal and Smolder.

All I can say is she was totally wrong with one of the names and totally right with the other. No Big Deal IS a big HUGE deal and Smolder certainly is smouldering.

First up, No Big Deal. This one is described as a green-leaning charcoal gray base with blue and green/gold/blue color-shifting micro flakes. Application was smooth and easy and the formula was a dream to work with. No issues to report at all. I used two coats of polish and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

Smolder is definitely smouldering! This one is described as a blackened plummy brown with pink/red/bronze shimmer. This one had the same smooth formula as No Big Deal. Application was perfect and I have no issues at all to report. I used two coats of color and one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos.

What do you think of these two? I am a reformed glitter-hater, but a great creme or shimmer will capture my heart every single time. I love them both and can't pick which I like best.

Comparison Request: Chirality Kale, a-England Dragon and La Femme Unica

Comparison Request

I've had a few requests for comparisons with Chirality Kale since I posted it, so here are photos of Chirality Kale, a-England Dragon and La Femme Unica.

Comparison: La Femme Unica vs a-England Dragon vs Chirality Kale

Comparison: La Femme Unica vs a-England Dragon vs Chirality Kale

As you can see, a-England Dragon isn't really close. La Femme Unica and Chirality Kale are actually quite close though! Kale is a bit darker than Unica and is a tad more olive green but unless you are close-up under strong lighting, it's not obvious that they're different at all. I'm not calling "dupe" here though. It takes an exact match, to my eyes, for me to use the word dupe.

What do you think? Do you have any or all of these?

La Femme polishes range from $6 - $9 at Ninja Polish (Unica is $9) for a 9 ml. bottle. Make sure to follow Ninja Polish on Facebook and Twitter to stay up-to-date on restocks and promotions and for swatches and other information.

A-England polishes are available on their website, and they offer free international delivery. You can also order through Ninja Polish, MeiMei's Signatures, Overall Beauty and Llarowe. And of course, you can always stay up to date on their latest release by following a-England on Facebook and Twitter!  Also follow Ninja Polish on Facebook, Overall Beauty on Facebook and Llarowe on Facebook and MeiMei's Signatures on Facebook for more updates, availability and re-stock information.

Chirality Nail Polishes are available on her Big Cartel site here and you can also follow her onFacebook here and Twitter here to stay up-to-date on re-stocks, specials, new swatches, etc. Polishes are B3-Free and cruelty free and retail for $7 for full-sized, hexagonal-shaped 15ml bottles.
