Nails Inc. Southwark, Electric Blue Comparisons and a Water Marble

Nothing to Disclose
*This product is Cruelty Free

Over the next few days I'll be showing you random polishes I swatched and didn't get the chance to post. Cleaning out the vaults, so to speak. Gotta get ready for the new year!

This morning I have a great electric blue that I managed to include in a few comparisons but didn't review or show you properly: Nails Inc. Southwark.

Southwark (pronounced Suthuck for the American readers) is a bright electric blue crelly. Great formula, opaque in 3 light coats on longer nails but I found two sufficient for my nails here. No top coat for the photos.

I did some comparisons by request...you can click the link in the caption to see my full post.

And a comparison with a few other royal/electric blues...

And one of my water marble attempts using Southwark and Nails Inc. Westminster, a medium-to-dark violet purple, and a plain white creme...

Southwark and Tudor Way are my two favorite BLUE Nails Inc. polishes. Nails Inc. is *supposed* to be opening a US site soon and I'm hoping that will mean greater access for the US because I'm needing a backup of a few Nails Inc. polishes, including Tudor Way, Southwark, Holland Park Road and many others. I adore this brand - especially the cremes and crellies.

Thrifty Thursday! with Sinful Colors Endless Blue and an Electric Blue Comparison

Personal Collection
*I am not sure if this
product is Cruelty Free

Good evening, it's Thrifty Thursday! Tonight I have a Sinful Colors polish for you and a few comparison photos.

Sinful Colors Endless Blue - creme, 2 coats and no top coat...

How does it compare to the new SinfulShine Most Sinful? Looks like I can finally use the word dupe. I haven't wear-tested them and it may be that the SinfulShine has better wear, but as far as color and formula? Dead on dupes.

And finally, how do these compare to the other "electric blues" out there? Or as my friend Jen would say - the "punch you in the mouth blues?"

Below I've compared with Dior Electric Blue and Nails Inc. Baker Street - I tossed in Revlon Royal on the thumb and Nails Inc. Southwark on the pinky.

It's closest to Dior Electric Blue. Baker Street is just a smidge darker and Southwark is much darker. Revlon Royal and Southwark are close to each other, but Royal is a jelly and Southwark is a crelly.

If you missed it, I also did an earlier electric blue comparison with Rescue Beauty Lounge IKB-2012 and some others.

What do you think? Do you have any of these? How is $1.99 Sinful Colors compared to $24.00 Dior? Actually, I'm not really sure how hard-to-find Dior Electric Blue is - it may be much more spendy now.

My actual favorite of all of these is Nails Inc. Southwark because it's darker, but if you want a Baker Street or Dior Electric Blue replacement? Sinful Colors Endless Blue or SinfulShine Most Sinful is your answer!

Sinful Colors and SinfulShine polishes are available at Walgreens. Some Sinful Colors are also available at select Walmart stores.

Nails Inc. Southwark - with a Baker Street Comparison

And you thought Baker Street was electric blue?

This morning I have a fantastic, almost electric, royal blue crelly (creme/jelly hybrid) from Nails Inc. - Southwark. (For the Americans, it's pronounced "Suthuck" just FYI.)

I will apologize in advance for the poor quality/blurriness of some of the photos, but this one was hard to get a color-accurate shot of and I did NOT want to color adjust so I will admit to walking around taking pics near every light source in the entire house...light bulbs, windows and there may or may not be a photo taken inside the refrigerator. I'm not admitting to anything.

But how does it compare to Baker Street? Well here ya go...

Told you they weren't the best quality, but 1) I hate color-adjusted photos when I'm trying to decide where/whether to spend my money and 2) I don't really know how on the photo editor (for dummies) that I'm using.

Application was fantastic. No issues at all. I used two coats and no top coat for the photos. It dries to a semi-glossy finish but with a top coat it positively glows. What do you think? Baker Street was the most "electric" blue I owned...until this one. It's really amazing.

A limited selection of Nails Inc polishes are available through Amazon.com or Sephora.com for around $9.50 in the US and the entire line is available through Nails Inc's own site nailsinc.com for around £11.00. Nails Inc. doesn't ship to the US so I'm ever thankful to my UK buddies for keeping me supplied.
