Nail of the Day: Pahlish Partridge in a Pear Tree

*This product is Cruelty Free

Sorry I haven't been posting as much the last few days - with the car being stolen and then found and all of the replacement ID, cards, etc. my lunch has been officially eaten and my hind quarters properly handed to me.

But today I have a quick nail of the day for you starring Pahlish! This one is Partridge in a Pear Tree, which was from the Christmas collection. But it's a year-'round polish in my opinion.

Pahlish
Partridge in a Pear Tree

Partridge in a Pear Tree is a solt, creamy off-white cream shade with purple/burgundy glitters and green glitters and a generous helping of gold/copper micro-glitter and a soft shimmer. Creamy and smooth - no issues at all to report. This is a reformulation, but I don't have the original to compare. You can see a comparison over at Pahlish's Blog though!

What do you think? It has just the right amount of glitter to remain creamy smooth and still pop!

You can purchase Pahlish on their Big Cartel site here or at Overall Beauty or Llarowe. Polishes retail for $9 and $15 for Duos.

You can also visit Pahlish on FacebookOverall Beauty on Facebook and Llarowe on Facebook for more information.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Winter 2014 Collection: Ruff Tuff Creampuff

*This product is Cruelty Free

Tonight continues swatches of the new Scofflaw Winter 2014 Collection set to launch January 5th, 2013. Tonight is Ruff Tuff Creampuff!

Here's what the creator had to say about this collection and her inspiration: Now, you may have noticed I don't really do 'collections', per se. Only in the most vague way. If the winter collection had a theme, it would be the idea of 'comfort'. My go-to colors. Colors that make me feel cozy. Polish names that give me a warm fuzzy - you get the idea!

I've decided to give each one of these beauties its own post so I could show you both in artificial lighting and indirect natural lighting without trying to keep it short. Then I will do a round-up post so they'll all be in one place for future reference.

Chanel Spring 2013: Fracas and Accessoire

Received my Chanel order to brighten up my Monday! Of the three new Chanel Spring 2013 polishes I ordered only two: Accessoire and Fracas. I passed on Emprise because it was a sheer nude. I love nudes, but I have to see them in person and try them on because my pale skin looks horrible in most nudes. And I don't like sheer.

I do LOVE the other two though!

This will be a short post - just wanted to show them to you...

The formula on both was perfect and creamy. Easy application, two coats for full opacity. No issues at all. Shown in photos with NO top coat on either one.

I did a quick comparison because it reminded me of Chanel Madness when I first put it on. I've compared it here with Chanel Madness and Chanel Provocation.

Fracas - this one has a great pink shimmer but it's mostly visible in the bottle and not on the nail. You can see it some in the 5th photo...
