What do you think of this one? Reminds me of the cool swimming pool I'd like to be sitting beside when it's 110° in the shade here.

Maya Cosmetics - Sanctuary and Wyoming Skies

Good morning! I'm back from a day off yesterday due to a migraine and I have some special pretties to show you!

Maya Cosmetics collaborated with a couple of bloggers to create a special duo of exclusive polishes for a giveaway but they turned out so nicely that they're now a part of her line: Sanctuary by Lisa at Cosmetic Sanctuary and Wyoming Skies by Kelly at Set in Lacquer.

First let's have a look at the aqua blue crelly - Sanctuary. Sanctuary is described by the maker as a soft, aqua blue crelly with aqua and silver shimmer. I found it applied more like a creme. I used two coats for full opacity and there are photos with and without Poshe top coat, as noted in the captions.

Let's see her topped off with Wyoming Skies! Wyoming Skies is a clear-based glitter polish with blue, caramel and warm pink glitters in various shapes and sizes. One coat of Wyoming Skies over 2 coats of Sanctuary with one coat of Poshe top coat for the photos. No issues - all glitters came out nicely and laid flat on the nail.

What do you think of these two? They look great alone or together.

Enchanted Polish Ocean Potion - Swatches and Review

Tonight I'm pulling another one "from the vaults" - before I cut my nails - because I have so much going on tonight. Errands made me late, loads of stuff around the house to catch up on and a drugged out puppy who needs extra snorgling tonight after being spayed. Puppies will always trump nail polish! LOL!

But the polish is a great one though! Enchanted Polish Ocean Potion. I wore it pre-chop but have been rather backed up with other posts. So tonight I'm bringing her out. Ocean Potion is an aqua blue linear holographic polish that actually reads as a foil in some lighting! Two easy coats with no base and no top coat. The formula was great!

I do so love a linear holo. What do you think of this one?
