W.I.C. by Herôme Las Vegas - Swatches and Review

Today is the last of W.I.C. Week!  I'm wrapping it up with W.I.C. Las Vegas. But I'm certainly hoping there will be more in my future!

To see days one through five click the links: KingstonMilanAalborg, Frederiksberg and Edinburgh! You'll find company and ordering information for W.I.C. by Herôme and specific links in the Edinburgh post.

W.I.C. by Herôme Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a medium pink violet creme that reminds me quite a bit of Chanel Rose Exuberant and Zoya Morgan. Formula was smooth and applied easily with opacity in one coat, but I used two from habit. I had a difficult time capturing the color - the bottle photo above is the most color-accurate.

And as you can see, I couldn't resist trying Lynnderella Connect the Dots over it...

I swatched a few similar colors I have with Las Vegas to see if I had any dupes.  There are a few that are close, but nothing exact.

1. China Glaze Make an Entrance
2. Chanel Rose Exuberant
3. Zoya Morgan
4. Pure Ice Flirt Alert
5. Revlon Tulip
6. W.I.C. by Herome Las Vegas
7. Orly Swizzle Stick

They DO ship to the US and navigating their website isn't difficult. You can check out through Paypal and the process seemed pretty easy. Once you're on the site, click the tab for the online shop where you'll find a drop-down menu to chose your preferred language. They retail for  7.50. (Which is close to $10 as I type this.)

What do you think?  Do you have any of this brand?

W.I.C. by Herôme Kingston - Swatches and Review

I reviewed W.I.C. by  Kingston already here with much longer nails, but I'm including new photos with shorter nails for my W.I.C. Week.

To see days one, two, three and four click the links:  MilanAalborg, Frederiksberg and Edinburgh! You'll find company and ordering information for W.I.C. by Herôme and specific links in the Edinburgh post.

W.I.C. Kingston

Kingston is a champagne colored gorgeous linear holo that had perfect application and full opacity in two coats. This was my favorite formula of the W.I.C.s so far. Just a dream!

And I layered Fantasy Fire over an accent nail to see how it would look.

W.I.C. by Herôme Aalborg - Swatches and Review

Day Three of W.I.C. Week is here! To see days one and two click the links: Frederiksberg and Edinburgh! You'll find company and ordering information for W.I.C. by Herôme and links in the Edinburgh post.

Today I have Aalborg for you. This one is probably my favorite just because it's a straight creme in that murky, olive green color that I adore so much! Olive green creme? Perfection!

W.I.C. by Herôme Aalborg

I used two coats of Aalborg, although it could probably be a one-coater like the others so far. It applied smoothly and evenly and I had no issues. Photos are without top coat.

And of course I had to see what Lynnderella Connect the Dots looked like over this one too. I added topcoat to this one of course.

What do you think about this one? I know this type of green isn't for everyone, but it's my absolute FAVORITE type of green. ♥ ♥ ♥

W.I.C. by Herôme Frederiksberg - Swatches and Review

Last night I kicked off W.I.C. Week here at Pointless Cafe with Edinburgh. For information on W.I.C. by Herôme, how to order, etc. please see that kick-off post here!

Tonight I have Frederiksberg to show you. It's a gorgeous creamy dusty blue-toned amethyst purple with lots of shimmer that reflects several different colors in various lighting. I have one photo that shows the shimmer colors, but this one is hard to capture because of the blue and purple.  So I'm showing you several photos in various lighting.

W.I.C. by Herôme Frederiksberg

This one honestly reminds me SO MUCH of Zoya Lotus. The application was smooth and easy and although it's a one-coater, I used two coats and no top coat. The formula is really terrific on this one.

Here's Frederiksberg...

I'm sort of obsessed with seeing what Lynnderella Connect the Dots looks like over everything lately so here's an accent nail over Frederiksberg.

After it reminded me so much of Zoya Lotus, I decided to compare them.

Zoya Lotus and WIC Frederiksberg

As you can see they are NOT dupes!  YAY!  Zoya has more shimmer and a bit more red in the base.

Isn't it gorgeous? You can order it to be shipped to the US from herome.com.

These products were paid for by ME and were not PR samples as are ALL of my swatches unless specifically disclosed.

W.I.C. by Herôme Edinburgh - Swatches and Review

Anyone who knows me will understand that I couldn't possibly pass up a nail polish called Edinburgh. It's my favorite place on earth, after all!  After I tried WIC Kingston, (<---click to see the review) I knew I had to try more of these polishes, but Herôme is a Dutch brand. I don't speak Dutch. If Paypal hadn't been glitchy when I tried to order more from their site, www.herome.com, I would have succeeded thanks to Google Chrome translating (somewhat) it for me. (EDITED TO ADD: Thanks to Iroshi Windwalker who commented below - there is a button at the top right to switch to English once you go to the Online Shop page. Doh!)

So, a really sweet person, who just happens to live in the Netherlands got them for me. THANKS GWEN!!!! ♥ Check out Gwen's blog here.

This kicks off WIC Week here at Pointless Cafe and there's no way I could have started it off with anything OTHER than Edinburgh.

W.I.C. Edinburgh
W.I.C. Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a great forest green with lots of golden shimmer and it almost looks like a green/blue duochrome in certain lighting which I tried to capture in the photos. It's a metallic-like finish (I wouldn't call it a true metallic) that goes on easily and smoothly. One coat would probably do it, but I used two out of habit. Their brushes are flat, medium-width and cut well. (The width is smaller than Dior, but wider than normal brushes - the perfect size for my nails.) Dries to a shiny finish. Shown here with no top coat, but I added one later, as always.

The depth and variation of color in this one really is fantastic and needs to be seen in person to appreciate.

They DO ship to the US and navigating their website isn't difficult. You can check out through Paypal and the process seemed pretty easy (except for the Paypal glitchiness issue that night, which had nothing to do with Herôme) so I say if you can read Dutch or use Google Chrome as your browser, you can order with ease. They retail for  7.50. (Which is close to $10 as I type this.)

What do you think?  Do you have any of this brand?

W.I.C. By Herome - Kingston #73 - Swatches and Review

I bought W.I.C by Herome - Kingston (#73)  from a blog sale to benefit the ASPCA. I really had no idea what it would look like, but it's a brand I'd not only never tried, I'd never HEARD of it! When I finally got around to swatching it, I was IN LOVE. I immediately googled to learn everything about them that I could. And then I proceeded to try ordering more. Still don't really know where that stands. The website is in Dutch and I made it to the "pay" part and couldn't get redirected to Paypal from there. I've since emailed them and am hoping to have more of thee beauties to show you in the future. I do know they ship to the US for a flat 15 charge. But I have a feeling, if this polish is any indication, it's worth it.

But for now...Kingston. It's a sandy/gold/tan linear holo with a formula that's to die for. It's actually a one-coater and flowed "like butta!"

I don't really have ordering information for you or where it's available except that because it's based in The Netherlands, I'm assuming it's easily accessible there. Once I have information, I'll be sure to share...with as many other W.I.C. swatches as I can. The bottles are 0.2 fl. oz.

Do you love it? Have it? Have any ordering or availability information to share?
