Vera Bradley-inspired Floral by Jacki

Today we continue with re-creations week at the Digit-al Dozen. We are re-creating manis from past Digit-al Dozen prompts that inspired us. This one is a Vera Bradley-inspired floral by Jacki over at Adventures in Acetone that she did for Patterns on Patterns week! (Click the link to see her original post/mani!)

For this one I used a base of Zoya Louise (sent to me for review) and acrylic paints for the rest. As you can see, I didn't copy her exactly because I like to do "inspired by" manis. Mine is the muted version of hers and a little more abstract. But I loved hers so much I wanted toss a nod in its direction. If I just had half the talent she has in her little finger... *sigh*

The Digital Dozen Does Re-Creations!

Stormy Weather by Ashley

Today begins re-creations week at the Digit-al Dozen. We are re-creating manis from past Digit-al Dozen prompts that inspired us. My first one is Stormy Weather, inspired by Ashley over at Ashley is PolishAddicted! (Click the link to see her original post/mani!)

This mani is actually an Extend-a-Mani as well! For this mani I used Orly Decoded as my base -Because that's what I was already wearing. I did a quick gradient with Salon Perfect Sugar Cube and used acrylic paints for the lightning.

Even for re-creation manis I tend not to try to copy exactly but rather do my own take on it. I loved how it turned out!

October's "Bewitched"-themed A Box Indied

Hi guys, I have one of the 5 new exclusive polishes for the Bewitched themed October A Box, Indied for you. This one is from Pam at Girly Bits and it's called Twitch or Treat.

Bewitched is my favorite TV show of all time, or it was when I was a kid. I still love it! So I'm pretty excited for this box!
