Thrifty Thursday! With Revlon

OMGosh I almost forgot about Thrifty Thursday! Lots of you said you enjoyed Thrifty Thursdays so I vowed to do better with it in 2013! Being sick has a way of tricking you as to what day it is, though. LOL!

Anyway, tonight I have a few Revlon polishes to show you for Thrifty Thursday!

First up, 3 of the newer ones: Iconic, Optimistic and Urban. Application and formula were good on all of them. Two coats for full opacity on all and no top coat shown in the photos.

Iconic is a medium to dark grey with a touch of green in the base.

Optimistic is a fruit punch sort of deep pink candy creme.

Urban is a great navy blue creme with an extra touch of purple in the base.

And finally, a new-to-me one but I don't think it's a new release: Totally Toffee. Same formula as the other three. Two coats, no top coat.

Totally Toffee is a really great carmel/camel toffee creme.

What do you think of these? I probably should have shown you these with a top coat, but I really prefer to show without a top coat when I can so you can see the real finish and get an idea of the formula.

Thanks for reading and for loving Thrifty Thursdays as much as I do!

After Christmas Nail Swatch Spam

Today I have a few polishes to show you that I'd intended to blog about much sooner and just never got around to...like a Grab Bag of swatches, I guess.

First up Chanel Pulsion:

Perfect formula, two coats, no top coat for Pulsion

Good formula and easy application - a few streaks in the close up photos, but you don't see them with the naked eye. Two coats, no top coat.

This is a great nude creme but it's a tad on the sheer side - I used two coats and no top coat for photos but as you can see, I really needed three coats for full opacity. No issues to report.

Any of these strike your fancy? Chanel Pulsion is To. Die. For. in person.
