Rainbow Honey Mare of the Moon - Swatches and Review

I was so excited yesterday to get my pre-ordered Equestria Collection from Rainbow Honey I can't even tell you!

With the pre-orders, she sent a "surprise" gift of two minis of her "mystery polishes" - one of which was Mare of the Moon and it looked so "me" in the bottle, I had to try it first.

Rainbow Honey Mare of the Moon

Dee (Ms. Rainbow Honey herself) describes Mare of the Moon:  Inspired by Princess Luna
A deep and mysterious indigo polish with a violet color shift and a sprinkling of silver moon crescents and holographic glitters.  That's a spot-on description. This polish is opaque in two coats, but I layered it over Nails Inc. Baker Street because that's what I happened to be wearing when they arrived. Layering this one isn't necessary. I didn't have to mess with the glitter pieces or dig anything out! I ended up with 4 crescents on my left hand and three on my right just randomly. I love that.

Showing it to you in various lighting so you can get an idea of the color shifts and depth. I used ONE coat of Poshe and it's so smooth you can't even feel the glitter. Definitely not a "hungry" glitter polish.
