Press Sample
*These products are Cruelty Free

Good Morning - it's Friiiiiiiiiiiday! Today I have a few polishes from Colors by Llarowe to show you. I'm sure you've seen swatches already but I have a few more.

At the end of the post I have 12 swatch photos of 12 other Colors by Llarowe shades.

Colors by Llarowe

Descriptions from Llarowe's site:

Young Grass HoppaMint green holographic.

Zipper - Limited Edition. This collection is named after my band of crazy kittens (and dogs). Zipper is my old man.   He is the gentle giant in the sea of craziness that is our zoo.  He is a big old black lab that has been going to work with me since he was 6 weeks old.  He is 14 now and in the twilight of his life.  This polish is a reflection of his gentle "I want to be a lap dog even though I weigh 125 pounds" self.
A portion of the proceeds from sale of this polish will benefit the ASPCA.

Mustang SallyHot pink jelly base with matte hot pink hexes and blue and pink shimmer.

A Pox on You - This is a polish Leah Ann created when she got the chicken pox recently. It's a golden yellow jelly base with hot pink glitters in circle and hex in varying sizes.

Enchanted Polish Across the Universe - Swatches and Review

Today I'm going to show you a polish I wore a week or two ago. Not sure why I didn't show you then, but I just found the photos!

Enchanted Polish Across the Universe is a bottle just full of multiple personalities! The color-shifting pigments make this one flash blue, purple, burgundy, brown, gold and green and with a LINEAR HOLO!

I layered one coat over black creme and took photos the first day and two days later to show tip wear. I didn't wrap the tips and I type a LOT, so I was honestly pleased with the wear. The application is one-coat easy over a base color and I had zero issues. The only color shift I wasn't really able to capture was the green, but it's there!

And on the 3rd day, showing a bit of tip wear, but it's not bad and it's probably due more to the coat of black creme I used underneath.

I think it's amazing! What do you think? As stated, I layered over a black creme, but it also layers nicely over other colors for even more personalities.

Enchanted Polishes can be purchased through llarowe.com and be sure and follow Llarowe on Facebook and Enchanted Polish on Facebook for information and updates. Enchanted Polishes retail for $15 for a full .5 oz bottle.

Lynnderella Bride of Franken - Swatches and Review

I'm late to the Bride of Franken party, but better late than never, right?

Lynnderella Bride of Franken
Lynnderella Bride of Franken

This evening I have Lynnderella's Bride of Franken to show you - over black. Bride of Franken has a translucent lavender base with fuchsia and blue micro-glitter, holographic micro-shimmer and small and medium-sized blue iridescent glitter pieces. I'm not sure of everything in it, obviously, but that's my best guess at a description. It's really gorgeous and everything in it works so well together to create an easy to apply layering polish.

I used Milani High Speed Fast Dry Black Swift as a base.

I used one quick coat of the black and two coats of Lynnderella Bride of Franken.

The above photos were with no topcoat. Still pretty smooth because Bride of Franken is smooth itself. Doesn't have that "chunky glitter" feel and the glitter pieces settle into the base nicely.

The next photos are with one coat of Seche Vite to finish it off.

Isn't she gorgeous!?

I haven't tried layering over any other colors yet, but give me time to play around and if I come up with something good, I'll post it for you!

Lynnderella polishes can be obtained through llarowe.com via wishlist. Currently the wishlist is closed while the first round of orders are filled, but if you follow llarowe on Facebook, you'll be notified when new wishlists are being accepted. HITS Apolo, Hermes and Dionisio from the No Olimpo Collection

Once again, THANK YOU Leah Ann at shop.llarowe.com for making more wonderful, formerly unattainable in the US, polishes available to us!

Today I'm showing the love for HITS Apolo, Hermes and Dionisio from the No Limpo Collection. I really want Zeus too, but it was sold out when I ordered. I WILL have it, though. Eventually. Showing the love that my photography skills don't do justice to, but love, nonetheless. These three Brazilian polishes are very strong linear holo polishes that really must be tried for full appreciation.

All photos are in artificial lighting, no flash. The sun has decided to go on vacation here for a while, but the linear is so strong, it "don't need no stinking sun!" (bonus points if you get the Treasure of the Sierra Madre reference!) I use a base coat and one coat of a random same-color-family polish and no top coat for the photos. I know these can be worn alone, but every drop is precious and I just like layering it over another, less precious polish.

All three applied quickly and easily with no issues.  The brushes are good and the formula is smooth. They dry quickly and the linear holo effect works equally well with or without a top coat.

First up is Apolo, a great blue linear holo.

Next is Dionisio, a purple linear holo.

And finally, Hermes, a gold linear holo. (How could I NOT buy a polish called Hermes?)

I sure do love me a linear holo! Have you ordered these yet?

Ozotic 533 - A Linear Holo Multi-Chrome?

When I received Ozotic 533 from Llarowe today, I was stunned! First, that I received it so quickly, although that shouldn't be a surprise. Leah Ann has AWESOME customer service and second, I guess I was expecting a blue-ish linear holo, but I wasn't really expecting it to also be a multi-chrome! I should have done more research. This is part of Ozotic's Mish Mash Collection and the only one I have...so far.

I put on a dark navy blue as a base and Ozotic 533 applied perfectly, easily and with just one coat coverage. Not only is it a linear holo that doesn't disappoint, but it's a multi-chrome that shifts from blue to silver to purple to green.  There are so many "looks" to it that I'd have had to post about 30 photos to capture most of them! But I am not going to do that.  I've picked out a few that show it off best.

And I just realized I didn't post any that show the green.  But trust me, it, among many other color shifts, is there with each tilt of the hand and shift of the light.

Love.
