Essie Luxeffects Shine of the Times (Flaky)

I just accidentally ran into a display of Essie's new Luxeffects line and couldn't resist picking up 3 out of the 5. Shine of the Times is the flaky. The two I didn't pick up were the 2 glitters. The other two I picked up were As Gold As It Gets and Pure Perfection, but I haven't tried those out yet.

Here's a closeup of the flaky goodness in Shine of the Times...

The flakies, depending on how the light kisses them, reflect red, copper, green, gold and even pink.

While I haven't mastered how exactly to make the polish show color-accurate while simultaneously NOT having orange hands, I opted for color accurate and apologize for the orange hands.

Reminds me of Nubar 2010! I would pull it out and do a comparison, but other than the flakies being more dense in the Essie than the Nubar, I can tell you they are near-dupes.

Way to go Essie!
