Different Dimension: Back to the 70s Collection - Swatches and Review

*These products are Cruelty Free

Hi guys! I'm back, just in the nick of time, with a new collection from Different Dimension called Back to the 70s Collection. There is also another new collection launching with this one called 80s Babies - All Grown Up. Both collections, including some new cuticle oil scents, launch TONIGHT, Friday, May 1, 2015 at 9 pm (8 pm CDT). Join me after the jump for the Back to the 70s Collection and later this afternoon for 80s Babies - All Grown Up.

Back to the 70s Collection

You know I had to play around with them first of course. I did a quick radial gradient and then forgot to get "real photos" - so this is just the cell pic.

Firstly, there are SIX shades in this collection but my orange one is missing. I waited until the last possible day to post in case it showed up in the mail but no luck. So I just have 5 of them for you. Neons are so hard for a non-photographer like me, so I only have two photos of each. One is artificial lighting and one in indirect natural lighting.

All of these have a coordinating shimmer/translucent micro-flake in them but they apply just like a creme. Creamy and smooth. These dry to that not-quite-shiny neon finish that's typical with neons.

Dream On - This one is an intense violet purple and I used 2 coats with one coat of top coat. No issues at all.

Psyche - This one is a highlighter yellow neon and I used 3 light coats of this one to get a level finish. One coat of top coat.

Right On - This one is a super bright neon hot pink and I used 2 coats with one cost of top coat. No issues.

Far Out - This one is a bright blue and I used 2 coats with one coat of top coat. No issues.

Boogie - This one is a super bright neon green and I used 3 light coats of this one to get a level finish. One coat of top coat.

What do you think? Favorites? And before you ask, yes they marble nicely! My favorites are Dream On and Right On. Can't wait to try Skinney, the orange one! (You can check out Cosmetic Sanctuary's post to see the orange one - her mail service is better than mine!)

These can be purchased at the Different Dimension Shop here starting TONIGHT, Friday, May 1, 2015 at 9 pm EST (8 pm CST) and at the following e-tailers once stocked, along with the 80s Babies - All Grown Up Collection.

Llarowe
Edgy Polish
MeiMei's Signatures
Le Doux Nuage
Rainbow Connection

You can also follow Different Dimension on Facebook here and Instagram here for all the news, information and more lovely swatches.

Be sure and check out the new cuticle oils - scents will include: Pina Colada, Peach Sensation and Grape Soda. Also launching on TONIGHT!
