Colors by Llarowe: Coal in My Stocking

Nothing to Disclose
*This product is Cruelty Free

Colors by Llarowe
Coal in My Stocking

Coal in My Stocking is described as a "charcoal jelly with intense sparkle" by the maker. I found this to be what I would call a textured polish though it's not mentioned anywhere. It's a blue-based charcoal crelly textured polish with silver glitter. Totally textured without top coat and super shiny with top coat.

I had no issues with the formula or application. I used two coats for the photos and I'm showing you with top coat and without. For the photos with top coat I used two coats of Poshe.

Fa la la la la...hope everyone is finished with their shopping because the stores are NUTS! Thank goodness for on-line shopping!

Had a busy week, as I am sure you guys did...lots of cleaning and shopping and errands and car repairs and standing in line at the Post Office. I'd rather have another root canal than do that, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do I guess.

It's been a rough week, well a SAD week. Ray Price was the best and although his perfect voice will live through his recordings forever, the man that he was will be missed.

It wasn't all bad though. After the jump I'll show you a bit of what I've been up to.

Pointless Cafe's Best of 2013 Part 5: Best Overall Brand of the Year

Well it's that time of year again! Time for my personal favorites of the year. And it was NOT easy this year for sure because this has been the best year for polish that I can remember...ever.

Part FIVE

By best brand - I mean overall. Mainstream, Boutique, Indie...

And the brand is...

ELEVATION POLISH!

My favorites are just about all of them. But I couldn't do that to you. Plus some of my favorites came out before 2013. Couldn't do that to you either. And we won't even get into the samples and small batch prototypes. I wouldn't do that to you either. So I've chosen my top 15 Elevation Polishes that came out in 2013 without any SBPs or OOAKs that you can't have!

Elevation Polish consistently delivers on the formula and creativity, not to mention reliable re-stocks and stellar customer service. And variety! Cremes, shimmers, flakies, glitters, mattes, oh my! This, along with being my most reached-for brand, has made them my Brand of the Year.
