Jelly Sandwich! With Red Dog Designs and Nfu-Oh

Nothing to Disclose
*These products are Cruelty Free

Well you know how Mondays are...well for me anyhow. You feel like you're a minute behind the rest of the world? Can't catch up? Drop everything you touch? I've already spilled an entire bottle of Campho-phenique in my bathroom and the whole place smells like camphor! Well I've just come across a mani I did a while back. I posted on Facebook but I guess it must have been a Monday because I forgot to blog about it!

So I'll show you quickly now. It really is quite special you see - the Red Dog Designs polish was a gift from my lovely friend Gina, creative genius behind Red Dog Designs. It's called Unicorn Kisses, officially, but wait until you see the bottom label she did for me!

I giggled SO HARD!

Copy-Caturday! With a Jelly Stamping Sandwich...or Two

*These Products are Cruelty Free

Tonight I have my Copy-Caturday post for you - better late than never! This time, I'm copying 4Boys 1Mom Lacquer's gorgeous mani. Check her out and give her a follow on Twitter and a like on Facebook - her swatches are gorgeous.

I didn't have that stamping plate of course, so I used BM318...

The Nail Junkie Blueberry Neon Shimmer Jelly

I actually DID take photos after clean-up, I just can't find them! UGH!

And later this week I did another one using The Nail Junkie Strawberry Neon Shimmer Jelly...

The Nail Junkie Strawberry Neon Shimmer Jelly

I love these for a couple of reasons. 1) It gets me over my fear of "jelly sandwiches" 2) I can do a jelly sandwich without glitter and 3) It hides the imperfections in my stamping! So...BIG shout out to Jennifer of 4Boys 1Mom! What a fantastic idea!

The Nail Junkie polishes are available at The Nail Junkie Etsy Store here.  Also, you definitely need to follow The Nail Junkie blog and Facebook page for updates and announcements.

Dandy Nails Come Out and Play - Swatches and Review

After trying out 4 other Dandy Nails colors and loving them, I knew I had to have more. This evening I have another beauty to show you.

Dandy Nails Come Out and Play

Dandy Nails Come Out and Play. Come Out and Play is a like a "jelly sandwich" without the trouble of all the layers! It's a gorgeous violet/fuchsia purple color packed with small white glitter pieces that is opaque on its own in two coats.  AND she's switching over to new bottles and brushes - wide, flat brushes! This is my first bottle with the wide brush and it's great. Not quite as wide and hefty as Dior's brush, but cut well and easily maneuverable. I like Dior's brushes, but I wouldn't be disappointed if they were a *bit* more narrow. These are just perfect.

Check it out!

And now for the polish! See what I mean? Jelly Sandwich!

What do you think? Application was great and an opaque jelly sandwich in two coats. LOVE.
